I am tipping that it will look very similar to the artist pic in the OP. Compare it to the camo mules and you will see that it is very similar. There is however a blank out across the grille where the number plate can be installed.

If the diesel is giving around 30% better fuel economy then why would you need a bigger tank?

Sketch is very close to the production version. I don't remember DRL's on the one I saw though, it had foglights. The headlights look sweet, grille is a bit different with all the chrome bars etc but it works.

Interior is very close to FG with the HMI setup between the gauges etc.

FG II will pick up some of the design cues as well. Possibly touch screen too, but I don't think Territory will get that yet.

V6 diesel looks tiny. Intercooler sits behind upper grille.

High series has DRL's as well all that chrome. Low series has a plastic insert instead of DRL's and very little chrome up front. Agree about the V6 diesel it looks out of place in the engine box.

Crikey! thats nice!! If I was in the market for one id buy one for sure.
Stoked its still gonna have the I6!!

But the more I look at the headlights the more it reminds me of a Honda Civic Type R! So I hope the Falcon does not follow suit with the headlights but I have the feeling they will.

Umm I can think of a recent example that has had a (almost) full reveal, not just pics, between 6 - 12 months before release. And it was a Ford.

The Ranger.

There are 2 little brackets that hold the rego plate right in the middle of that huge grill.

...and it wasn't a real Ranger, it was a wood and clay mockup and according to Ford there are still some finer details of styling and spec they are not ready to disclose yet - hence the camo mules still running around.

The point being though that they basically revealed details of an all-new car months and months out from public release.

Cool - so I guess we'll be able to option Touch Screen on the lower spec models?

Yes ok, Thanks for that!

Kluger has a rear power assisted door (Grande model) which is a feature that I think once you have it there would be no going back!

Still, This new Territory should get quite a few interested indeed as it looks good.

I suppose it all depends on how they plan on structuring the updates before both models get updated again. Of course Territory wont get anything major again before its either heavily updated again or replaced/dropped, but who knows what they'll do with Falcon.

While the Diesel Territory will take a lot of sales, I'm predicting the RWD I-6 with ZF will regain dominance.
If Ford can get that fuel consumption down from 11.6 to 10.5, I recon buyers will climb on board in droves.

It would have to be..they are basically the same car tech wise...would be a very bad look to have the Terry specced better than the falcon..LOL

The only reason Tezza gets it now is because of launch dates...but you probably already know that.

Unless the new tech adds weight, which is likely will.

Agreed, it was a random number, an increase is likely but it will be bugger all; and the diesel will take care of it no worries (not that the I6 cant).

Its all relative to the situation ........ ? Many have bought the FG 5.4 and none are too disappointed or you kicking yourself now? If people thought that way, no one would buy a new car ...... ever. Wont stop me buying an FG before the FG11 .... or I might wait and get a better deal on a run out model.

Would be more disappointed if they bought out the Territory and was superseded within a couple of months.
