This is going to be good, 7.5 runs per over, you know they're not going to sit back.

Been up all night watching it... a full loaf of raisin toast to keep me going
the lankans are making a game of it though, the total the aussies made in just 38 overs was huge |

it is a disgrace imho, that for a tournament to go for SOOOOO long and then (even though they have a rain scheduled day tomorrow) that the final is only 3/4 of a game.
Cheapens the game and definitely will cheapen the Aussies win due the the lack of overs. The Lankins are at a huge disadvantage and the Aussies would of been cheering having to face less overs from the Lankins bowling attack.

Am I the only one that thinks the Lankians can have a decent crack at the win if the weather lets them?

It's about bloody time!
Congrats you b@stards, well deserved. By far the best team. It's a pity it ended the way it did. I'll go back into my hole and cry. NZ puts up a bad show at the America's Cup, Ambrose crashes out after a brilliant run, and now the Aussies win the WC. What a day for NZ sport :evil3: |

pffft... worst win ever!!
what a COMEDY I feel sorry for the Lankans, they never had a chance today..If you could come back and finish it tomorrow due to bad light, wtf was with the duckworth system, or even why start the game today anyway if they never had a chance of finishing it during DAYLIGHT.. Such a shame that the WC drags on for so long to end like that.. Poor Big Glenn and the aussie coach, what a shocking way to bow out..

Had to laugh at the ground guys, they were setting up for the after game concert and were told to pack it up again for 3 more overs!
Even Glenn had to put his souvenir stump back! |
