Artist's Comments
An animator faces his own animation in deadly combat. The battlefield? The Flash interface itself. A stick figure is created by an animator with the intent to torture. The stick figure drawn by the animator will be using everything he can find - the brush tool, the eraser tool - to get back at his tormentor. It's resourcefulness versus power. Who will win? You can find out yourself. -- This took three long months.. i think it's worth it. PART 1: http://alanbecker.deviantart.com/art...ation-34244097 Artist's Comments The animator, looking for a challenge, decides to make the stick figure harder to beat. Little does he know exactly how much power he is giving to the little guy. Long live The Chosen One! This took me five months. It recently ranked in the top 25 of the Ohio Governor's Show PART 2: http://alanbecker.deviantart.com/art...on-II-50891749 |

in a mates wrx racing a skyline hit a roadworks barrier at 160km/h and bounced between them like a pinball in a machine. surprisingly we managed to drive away with only the rear bar ripped clean off and some pretty minor cosmetic damage, oh and he ripped the gear knob off the stick. and bent the stick when we hit.

sounds like it woulda been pretty brutal if you wernt next to him lol..
i was comin up the old princes hwy from woolongong to sydney in an 80 series landcruiser. mum driving, grandma in front passenger seat. me in middle back seat(lap belt) and my 2 brothers on either side. coming up a hill at about 70, 2 lane road cliff face on our side and gully on the other side. a pilot driving ford telstar doing probably about 90 coming downhill had a heartattack or fell asleep at the wheel, veered into our lane, mum couldnt get out of the way, as there was a cliff face next to us but she moved over as far as she could. Hit the drivers side corner, snapped the bullbar clean in half, the drivers side footwell all crushed inwards. written off. My grandma hit her head on the pillar and got a concussion and an Egg on her head bigger then a cricket ball, brothers were fine but shaken up.i was in the middle with the lap, i just got thrown forward, smacked my front teeth on my knees, always been a bit wobbly since then but they wont come out and they arnt dead. luckily my mum didnt get hurt although she has been taking anti depressents from it since and it was about 9 years ago now the other driver however wasnt so lucky, he was real fcked up i could see him from my seat in the landcruiser, blood running, no pouring off his face like a tap all i could see of him was red. his car looked like it had been turned inside out, all the outer skins had been ripped off. Later we heard he died. Other drivers on the road were really helpful, directing traffic. One lady even took me and my brothers back to their house while it was all being sorted out. i can remember only the aftermath, nothing of the actual hit, i didnt get concussed or anything i just dont remember the impact. only remember me lookin at the other driver and my mum telling me not too. didnt really affect me

I was in a rather scary accident last year in the mazda work van. It pretty much happened because some idiot in a commodore with a trailer zipped up the hoon lane and pushed in. about 4 cars had to slam on there brakes with not too much drama but the car behind me didn't quite make it. He went to escape to the left but just clipped me putting me sideways over both lanes and I had a motorbike t-bone my door. He then went flying across 3 lanes of 5.30 oncoming traffic. There were cars going all directions to avoid him. I really though I was about to see a man die. Luckily they all avoided him and he was lucky(?) enough to only get a shattered leg. After the impact I climbed out the window straight away to help. after about 20 minutes I went back to the van and realised it was still revving like buggery. The accelerator was smashed fullly down to the floor not happy van. I know I should have turned the engine off but in the moment I forgot. The biggest contributing factor to the accident was the poor tire condition of the vehicle that hit me. two of them went flat from the skid.

I used to go out as an emergency service volunteer and extract people from motor vehicle accidents for about 13 years using the "jaws of life" So "been there, done that."
