At times i have a lot of fun looking younger then i am. Was chatting with 2 receptionists today, one i am friendly with out of work, and her releif front desk lady. The releif lady is quite pregnant. Chicks get all girly talking about kids. So when i said to the pregnant lady i have a son she asks how old? I said 10. She turns all 10 months how cute. When i said 10 years, she gave me the look, and asks how old am i. Im not mid 20s like she thought, im 33. Got a laugh from the normal receptionist, she already knew my age and always asks about my kid. But i found it a funny interaction.

Dropping an acquaintance off at the motorbike workshop where a knob who once road-raged me, works. Figured they can sort it out; I can’t be both bike-blind and pro-bike.

Looks like a male pot mate, you need a female pot if you want bud...

You can tell by the sound it makes when you tap it firmly on the edge with a stick. If it makes a good “bong” then it’s a female pot.

You didn't have to put the box up in the back, we can see you used all the parts

Ive been getting mexican food quite a bit lately, mainly because mad mex and guzzies for some reason have stayed open. Not a big chilli person. Anyhow. Where i was working today, the food joint is actually still open. I think the lift company who takes up a fair bit of that business park is still open, so they get business. I like quesadillas. This place does unconventional quesadillas. The one i like is simply beef, bbq sauce and a tonne of cheese. Nothing mexican about it bar the tortia and the fact its folded and flat pressed. But brilliant none the less.

I had a good idea that id been thinking about today. Lately theres been maintenance going on with the power grid in my area. Sometimes they let you know the powers going off, other times it just gets turned off. My thoughts were install a spitfire (emergency light) in my bathroom. Easy enough, power goes off, that light goes to battery and turns on. Nobody likes ****ting in the dark. Couldnt be bothered doing that tonight. Then silly me had another thought. Grab a spitty out of the car and just plug it into a power point. I was over thinking it too much. Power goes at 830, but LED spitfires last for, when new, a few hours. I used to keep one plugged in in the garage of the place i rented because the lighting where my bbq was was horrid. Worked a treat. Hang that bad boy over the hood of the bbq.

New decal edition on R36 for my Greyhounds! Unfortunately recently Ford never made a fast wagon (sorry but Territory SUV doesn't interest me) as I'd have bought it instead..........

You know your cars ; )
Yeah the VR6 (especially with my mods) sounds fantastic I agree. One of the biggest reasons I bought it. It's silent at idle but roars under load. I initially wanted a SS Sportswagon when sold my BA Turbo for my dogs, but the R36 pretty much better than the SS in most ways IMO. Last edited by MercuryT; 07-05-2020 at 07:07 PM. |

Remembering 25 years ago today I was at Hindmarsh Stadium in Adelaide watching the Melbourne Knights win their first National Soccer League championship Grand Final.

I briefly entertained the idea of a Passat V6 sedan before I chose my FG XR6. I'm not usually a fan of V6's, especially with modded exhausts. The VR6 has wonderful off-beat note to it that I love. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-tT20oOMAXo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ssdQkb67XOc https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VzzgfDkIYwM
