Greetings from California, the place I want to leave behind and move to Oz!

My name is Rob and I Love Fords! My best friend lives in Cranebrook NSW and is a diehard Ford guy as well. I am also a member of the Small Ford Car Club of NSW. I currently own 2 1973 Ford Pintos and a 1966 F100. The F100 is an all original Farm truck with a 300cu and a 4 speed. I am in process of transplanting a 5.0L EFI with an AOD gearbox. That is what actully brought me to this forum. The 5.0 is set up as a Speed Density EFI and I am going to convert it to Mass Air. I am trying to find an ECU that will work with this set up. I know the Australian Fords are far better than their American counterparts when it comes to factory Horsepower and figured the Australian ECUs are superior as well. Anyway, I will post up a thread in the proper forum but for now here are a couple of pics of my motors

Hello....

I have owned a BA wagon for 5 years now and it's got 293000ks on it and still going strong, it's so useful that I just bought a BA egas wagon to complement it, now the missus and I have one each! Happy days....

Hi all, I am from the Darling Downs and hoofing around in a warmed up XG ute shod in EB GT rims which srape the upper arm when turning too sharp, the bonnet covers a multi point with a pod and a set of nice paceys to make a bit of noise, I have started using BP ultimate and seems to want to twist a bi once over 3 grand. I have a Barra to fit in the old girl one day but need a few tips and parts, it has been under a tree for a while and need new cams. Will the pacys fit the Barra?

Hi Glynn and welcome to the forums.

If you are searching in the FAQ section, it will only bring up FAQ's or most commonly asked questions on how to use the site.

If there is something in particular you are searching the site for, eg: XR bonnet, you can type in the key words, using the search button on the top navigation bar. You can also perform a search in any sub forum using the search function.

Hope this helps.

Cheers

Hi All

Great Forum with so much interesting and helpful info.

I own two Fords. Just managed to buy (after a long search) a fab white RWD 2007 Ghia Territory. What a fantastic family car. This one is a keeper for me. Almost do not want to let the kids in it!

We also have a 1999 Au Ford Fairmont and I have a soft spot for this car. It has served us very well and I continue to be impressed by its reliability and ruggedness.

Recaro's are a pretty good seat but not that good on long drives. We have a set fitted to our coupe.

Enjoy the forums everyone. Don't be shy in asking for advice in the relevant sections. You will find everyone is friendly (well, mostly everyone... ) and advice and tips are given freely by everyone.

hello.....i don't even know if I'm posting in the right box but anyway.....
i have a 64 xm sedan....mostly original apart from having a gas conversion before i purchased it.....i wondering if anyone can help me with what sort of engine i can buy that will fit her as tune ups are no longer doing her justice...i have been told i can have the engine reconditioned which is an option but I'm leaning towards a new one??????
