I wonder if it's a mistake on the price board or the gas industry just realised they haven't been short changing LPG users enough

Because the oil companies have worked out that it’s the best way to maximise profits by really sticking it to us all.
Diesel used to be a cheap commercial fuel then everyone with a Ute wanted a diseasel so the oil companies shifted
their emphasis to maintain their profits and then some…..

They reckon there's a world wide shortage........translation bull sh#t

Would have thought the amount of diesel that comes out of the refining process would be proportionate?

Filled with 98 today at $1.96-odd (Apex, Sydney). Better than last time at $2.39!

Not sure I consider the price rises a “crisis” but they are a good cue to review your planning and how you value your time.

They often work on monthly cycles rather than the 2 week discount cycle for petrol. It should drop by the first week of August.

To condition us into thinking that $2 a litre is cheap. Add the 22 cents come September, it would adjust to $2 right now in Perth for 95/98.

Its been that way for years, remember in the bazillion times I've visited Adelaide driving around their roads wondering why fuel was always so much cheaper there than here

Market pricing I guess, can charge people here up the *** more than over there one assumes.

Mrs got 91 for 182.7 at Costco today, 64 litres.

226.9 in Kingston.

That's a $28 saving by filling up at Costco

States no longer put taxes on fuels, there was a high court ruling years ago on tobacco taxes,
apparently that spilled over to state taxes like NSW used to do for road upgrades, all found to be illegal.

Yeah, same here. 167.9 at Costco for their e10 94. Many servos are still floating around the 189 Mark for e10. Was almost tempted to put 98 in at 188.9, but decided the Territory didn't need it.
