At this stage I'm 50/50 on going. My car went back to the panel beaters to get the heater core replaced.

the thing exploded Friday at G&D when they had it on the dyno, the thing was leaking water into the footwell since I picked it up, hopefully they can repair it then I can get it back to G&D before next weekend.

d'oh thats a bugger of a job, means taking the dash out, de-gassing the aircon. took me 8hrs to do in my ef.

good to see ford still have a problem that's been going on for 30+ years

Accom has all been finalized.

We have
2 x 2 Single Bed rooms for BUD, staying Saturday night only
2 x Queen Bed rooms 1 for me and 1 for Marty for Sat/Sun night
2 x Queen Bed with Single Bed rooms 1 for John and 1 for Theo and Kev.

If anyone has any problems with this I need to no ASAP. There are still a few rooms available so if youd like to come I should still be able to arrange something.

MEETING POINT:

Melton West MCDONALDS
crn of Coburns RD and Barries RD
Meeting at 6:00am for a 6:20am Dep

That should give us plenty of time to get to Adelaide. We should arrive at 3-3:30pm at the latest, with 2 stops on the way.

How does that sound for everybody.

Unfortunately guys, I'm out too :( . Just today I found out that the car needs new exhaust and a couple of other things need to be looked at too. I just won't have enough time to do it all before saturday... Very disappointed I can't make it, I was really looking forward to this show... Joel you can cancel the rooms, sorry for such a short notice, like I said I found out just today.

just a normal VN commodore P platers driving skill at its best pulling out infront of of us which left me no where to go ...
now i can see how good 6 pot brembos work from behind ...
its time to up grade the brakes i think .. and the car will come back looking really different if all goes well with the panel shop..
all i can say is carbon fiber anyone???

also i didnt say that i am not going anymore.. it just wont be in my car .. another member has already offered to take his car to show it off for him...

Hi Joel

Adrian and I are looking forward on going to SA. We are still cleaning our cars.

Adrian now owns a 2004 BA XR8 VIXAN. Comes with manual leather premium tinted windows and 18's. Very clean car.

Also can i have the contact details of the motel please. I might need a bigger room.
