check ur compliance plate DRHEMI, its a falcon. deal with it.

those who whinge because 'falcon' sticker degrades their car.. get over it, your driving a car thats between 10 and 20 years old, built as a family car.
its no prestige/rare car.

i'd rather a sticker that read well and looked good then one that contains words to cover all cars and ends up reading and looking crap.

It has more prestige than a Falcon, thats why I bought it, thats what it was sold as.........

May as well change the name of FordForums to FalconForums :

it's amazing in the poll running in this forum that ef and el alone make up most of the owners cars here. e-series was the most appropriate name and thats a fact!, but i guess now a compromise has to be reached..... and it WILL be a compromise no matter what name is thrown forward.

Well said and so true, even tho the Fairmont's are really nice cars, there not rare enough to be classed as something spectacular.
Anyway this is all beside the point.
IMO if it reads 'Ford END Club of Australia' it allows any type of Ford to be in the club, but if it reads 'Falcon END Club of Australia' it lets people know exactly what cars the club is about.

This is precisely what the tagline IS all about.....A "BRIEF" descriptor of what the club is all about.
Need to remember that the club is about Fairmonts, Futuras, Fairlanes and LTD's as well, not 'just' Falcons...

What i'm saying tho is that all these cars are basically Falcon's, Futura is already a Falcon, Fairmont is the same shell, motor, drive line and most aspects of the interior as a Falcon, Fairlane/LTD are Falcon based....

I cant see someone seeing the sticker reading 'Falcon END club of Australia' and thinking, 'Damn its only Falcons, I cant join with my Fairmont.'

True - but I can see someone with a Fairlane or LTD thinking it.

But what have i started.............lol

But i guess Falcon END club covers that as well

Who else has an opinion??????????

What's wrong with incorporating E-series into the tag line? I know this club is distancing itself from the 'other' club, but the vast majority of the cars are E-series and the 'other' club doesn't own the line. "Ford E-Series Enthusiasts Club of Australia".

I'm fine with it.

And as far as I know the other club doesn't even own their club name, iirc that was part of the problem with the fight.

Look at this way, it something called differentiation, we want to be different.

Better to make it very different so people dont think the clubs are affiliated in any way.

We are aware of the other club so we can avoid this situation, instead of having to change things later.

Just my thoughts.

Remember the black is only there to represent a window, the logo would be cut out.
i also like this design, but it needs to be written as:the falcon e.n.d series club of australia. imo it NEEDS the word 'series' in there so you dont have people with stupid blank stares on their faces going- what the hell is an end club? :togo: the single addition of 'series' NEEDS to be added! :

good enough!, but having the word series in there is the missing link in all the suggestions so far. so unless anyone disagrees (sp), with with the word 'series' being included i say use it.

Yep I agree 'series' should be in there.

So whats the go now, personally I think this has gone on long enough, can we decide what logo we like now?
I'll nominate Adrenaline's logo:

This is with both taglines:
'Falcon E.N.D. Series Club of Australia' and
'Ford E.N.D. Series Club of Australia'

I think we can mostly agree we have a logo, and the tag line is in discussion, IMO.

Agreed, we need them on our cars for cruises to gain interest of other people with e-series cars.

I dont mind which tag line we use, 'Ford' or 'Falcon' I'm fine with now.

I am enquiring about stickers based on the above design with a tag line, just making some enquires to get this rolling, i HAVE NOT LOCKED us to the design nor am I dictating the design, before people accuse me of that.

OK here are some specs for the design:

560mm x 80mm or there abouts
12mm high for the smallest letters and should be in bold (i.e. the tag line)

Will also have to be in:

adobe illustrator in eps format with vector info

mate, as soon as you get some i will take 3 with either tagline! i mean even if we get these first lot out quickly and someone changes their mind about the decision, new ones can be done anyway. but the above ones are classy and to the point. I'M IN ! :
