Surely a slow, heavy barge like a BAGT wouldn't have enough grunt to lay rubber like that Pottery?

Well ye that's what 'trickle' chargers are for you can get them for $100....Only charge about 1Volt just enough to keep battery fully charged while it sits in the garage/shed. Also disconnect battery when not in use.

They can do 230, I know, done it on the Hume, had proof on my GPS at the time, think that was what it was limited to.

I don't understand why you can not drive at such speed's in areas as such just like how it is in some other areas of Australia like the NT.
The key word in that article to me was the word "remote", they go on and try and say what would happen if a sheep or roo jumped out, what they don't have sheep or roos etc up in remote areas of NT. I don't condone this speed on road's in semi rural areas etc but as the Journo and police said, it was such a remote area of SA. A little blast in a GT in a remote stretch of road would give any one that wonderful butterfly feeling. |

Yep, if you did in NT when there was no speed limits no one would have batted an eyelid. I sat on a steady 200-210 for nearly 2 hours in a rented Bomadore once & I didnt die or anything.
Go figure.
