Gee, I am selling 3 rarer XA coupe doors in reasonable nick for the price of 1 of your doors. Maybe I am selling them too damm cheaply.

depends on who you get to do it. They arent heavy, just bulky in size.

if you could find someone transporting a car or somthing from here to down south, the easiest way would be to get them placed with that and give the owner somthing to cover costs.

i remember the last xa coupe door (1 only) I bought cost me 300, and allthough it was tidy, it still needed a fair bit of work.
the doors I have need a clean up for surface rust, and have a few spots of rust down in the sill bits of both, but theres another complete spare door there to use for bits too, and allthough the skin on that one isnt good, the frame is.
so all in all, they are darn good value for $200 all up.

Still Got those XA Coupe Doors...3 of for $200. These are a bargain, and I cant beleive their still for sale.

Also have a complete XA Option 40 in Dash Air Con setup for XA 10/72 or later with spare a/c box, ducts etc.
Left side Dash part has the correct padded black vinyl grain trim pattern for XA.
This will give you basically everything you need to make a normal XA or XB into a Factory Air car. It has everything bar the Heatertap. Open to offers from $1500 for the lot.
A friend of mine has a rear window stainless mould for a coupe. Its in very good condition. It needs a polish, and will need the lower ends on the 2 bottom bits reshaped slightly to sit correctly over the top bits once located in the rubber. He wants $600 for this item. A few weeks ago a poorly condition one with dings and paint all over it sold on ebay for $480 plus post, so thats his reasoning for the price he set, nothin to do with me. He has asked me to list it on ebay for him, but I thought I would offer it once here before I list it for him.

Mate i would love that rearwindow chrome but getting it to nz would be a mission lol Does anyone know where the best place to get a drivers door rubber from is? Rare spares over here is so over priced its not funny!!

Guys,
I'm cleaning up the XB & after the best place to get bits & have some bits repaired:

To Repair / replace:
- Clock
- Window winders
- drip rail moulds
- steering wheel (crack at 12 only)

To repace:
- door strikers
- door glass (mine is all scratched) - not sure if I should get green glass ?
- rubber kit
- GT fuel cap (I want to replace my old round one)

I guess Rare Spares is a start
Anyone have better suggestions ?

I have been restoring an XB 4 door over the past 3 years, you can see the resto by clicking on my signature, this project has now stopped as i have purchased an XB coupe to be picked up on the 29th of this month. So i am now wrecking and a complete everthing must go sale is about to happen, i have a GT fuel cap and some other stuff you might need that will come off a 4 door. PM me if interested.

This might be going WAY out on a limb,

But is anyone sick of their power windows and want to swap for windups? Or depending on price does anyone have a set of coupe power mechanisms available? I have the sedan mechanisms and plenty of spare motors, but need the coupe ones or some drawings to modify them.

And eventually I want to go A/C, I have the heater box and air plumbing etc. from a factory A/C ZH (XC?) and would be happy to swap that for the same style to suit XB (ZF & ZG?) not the knee-freezer thing but the proper integrated style. The components between the firewall and dashboard.

are u going under dash or integrated air mike?

That's the same link twice, for a GT dash/cluster. But not what I'm after, I need the heater box and vent system for an A/C car. I'm not sure how different that is to my current non-A/C unit, but I'm hoping to make it much like a factory air-conditionned car. I have pretty much all the under-bonnet componentry I just need the different stuff for inside the cabin. I could use the gear out of this ZH but the vents are in different locations, I don't know what else is different?

hey mike, if you pickup the under dash stuff, vents, ducts, and a/c unit you can convert your dash to suit, just need to cut two extra vent holes and get the shorter glovebox - i have one out of the car atm, and could possibly get pics and measurements if you require (not for a couple of weeks tho)

I'd prefer original, but it seems I'm not likely to find them.
I've heard that there used to be some repos in fibreglass, but I can't even find them !

Havent seen repo ones .... only original. There usually is a pair on ebay going for around the $300 to $500 a pair but none at the moment.

advanced fibre glass in sailsbury use to make them in fibre glass some time back ,i did call them for a set for my wifes coupe but the dood said they no longer make them ,maybe they still have the molds?? ,thankfully i dug some up woohoo and no there not for sale ,

If anyone is interested, a friend of mine has an NOS XB GS/GT bonnet for sale at approx $2,600 and NOS coupe door skins for approx $750 each side.
