Saw a VZ SS 6L V8 yesterday that had a HSV "6.0L LS2" badge on it... The VZ 6L were L76 engines, not LS2, fail...

That may be just the code given to Brisbane built vehicles , the same way as JG is the code for broadmeadows built vehicles |

There is an annoying trend (for me) in SA, of people putting custom number plates like 'VESSV8' on their VE SS V8 commodore. The annoying part is the badges on the boot, above the custom plate, already tell me what the car is, & these people pay $240 per year + rego for the priviledge!!
On the positive side, I have seen some clever custom plates. There was a Nissan Skyline GTR running around with the plate 'FLYLICE' which i thought was hilarious!

I hate big stickers on back windows, you know "jet pilot" "unit" etc. each to there own.
But I saw a great one recently, a huge sticker that filled the whole back window which simply said "BIG STICKER"..............

What peeves me is people with newer cars running round with older letered number plates. eg R or S at the beginning of it.

Had a chuckle to myself this morning when I saw a normal dull looking Hyundai with one of those visor strips across the top of the windscreen saying "Hyundai Racing" right across it.

But I used to run old plates on my WRX as the combination worked for the car. Plus back then they were only $180 to buy. In Qld now you can make up any 3 letter 3 number or 3 number 3 letter plate and as long as it isn't in use, you can buy it.
