Like it or not you can actually buy 22" badges on ebay now (relating to wheel size of course).

Well I've got FPV badges on my xr6 instead of the stand ford ones
And my number plate is my nickname, which has nothing to do with fords

I don't see why it's an issue

I think you will find that this is the case in many instances. My cousin has the number plates OVAKIL which use to be on his XA falcon (massive supercharger,700hp) in the 80s. He got the plates back but the car is off the road so he has them on his daily for now. So its not always idiots with certain number plates on there car

There is an annoying trend (for me) in SA, of people putting custom number plates like 'VESSV8' on their VE SS V8 commodore. The annoying part is the badges on the boot, above the custom plate, already tell me what the car is, & these people pay $240 per year + rego for the priviledge!!

On the positive side, I have seen some clever custom plates. There was a Nissan Skyline GTR running around with the plate 'FLYLICE' which i thought was hilarious!

I hate big stickers on back windows, you know "jet pilot" "unit" etc. each to there own.
But I saw a great one recently, a huge sticker that filled the whole back window which simply said "BIG STICKER"..............

What peeves me is people with newer cars running round with older letered number plates. eg R or S at the beginning of it.

What state are you in? As here in Qld, they've just finished the R plates and have now started with S plates.

But I used to run old plates on my WRX as the combination worked for the car. Plus back then they were only $180 to buy.

In Qld now you can make up any 3 letter 3 number or 3 number 3 letter plate and as long as it isn't in use, you can buy it.
