Considering this is yet another Photobucket affected thread, here a few more to add to the collection.

How good does that sail plane on the FG ute clay look. Wouldn't allow the hard-lid to lift in the current form, but that could be worked on. Would have been a nice addition to the XR6/8 utes. Blind spot visibility may have been a negative factor though.

I was wondering if anyone has any pictures of the BA and BF design sketches or prototype concepts/clay models being worked on? I cannot find one single thing on Google Images!

Great shots Dauphin. I really have a great appreciation of the guys/girls that had the skills and foresight to design, mould, tweak, and build the Falcon's we see and drive today!

Anyone know what's happened with the Discovery ctr vehicles (saw the note earlier about them being stored on the old site but...)? These cars were created in the best days of FoA, something hard to explain to my kids...i'd love the opportunity for them to see what was and what could have been. Some are obsessed with 'Ford', they don't know why, but they are (well programmed by dad!).

They wanted the bulk more towards the center to make the car look smaller, something along those lines.

Apparently the design itself was done in house at Ford.
Edit: Yes - it was in fact Wheels' interpretation - I misread the article. Quote:
