Technicality, ford globally sell more cars then holden, who only sell cars in Australia. But yes, untill anybody drives one, all the opinions have been voiced and this thread has gone off on a tangent

Fords technology is better also and America has their own holden version which is also sold in Australia and new Zealand nothing different about them but the badge though. Not just do they sell more they produce more and are much bigger also. Tell me something I don't already know pal. Every thread goes off a bit as the same subject gets boring.

Adults create their own bed time bud.. and yes it also looks like a Mazda also. We call them hold ons as they're just holding together. Makes sense to me as I use too drive pass broken down hold ons on a daily basis in Brisbane from classic to present models.

I wasn't making any reference to technology. I wasn't even having a go at you. it was more a statement about how general motors has many sub brands in many different countries, and over the years have pulled certain ones out of certain places, but still badge engineer things. Yes ford do that too, but not to the same extent. Yes ford own a share in mazda so the bt50 is similar to a ranger in the most part, but gm pulled the Daewoo brand from Australia (for good reason) then what pops up? The holden Epica (2nd generation Daewoo leganza) and the un German barina (Daewoo khalos). Atleast the ford brand gets kept consistent. I'm not going to jump up and down claiming they are the best car ever made or anything, but atleast they haven't pulled stunts like (after the nissan n13 rebadge) the astra was an opel for many years, then opel popped up, no one bought them. I don't doubt the cars weren't bad at all, I'd probably prefer to drive an opel astra to a holden astra, but that's only because it sound imported, and it wouldn't happen because my criteria for a family car is large and sedan

Well technology counts is this time of error just saying. And those two last cars were very good I had one holden vectra and at that time probably the best car I ever owned had no problems what so ever.

I drove a Daewoo leganza for 7 years and it had the same motor and gearbox and I traded it in when it was 13 years old with 250k on the dial and it never crapped out. Unless yours was the 2.2, or v6. Mine was the c20.

From memory it was just a standard 2.0 gosh that's a while ago . Now which one had the reverse by the 1st gear ? Opel or holden ?

Nice gift being so dam reliable I sold mine with 200 plus kms . And thrashed it most days doing at least 600 to 700 kms some weeks traveling to work roaming and driving out of town most weekends. Still ran like a charm. I'd buy another one if I seen one going cheap just as a run about

Atleast you won't have to close you're eyes and imagine an igsignia. Well that's the not not bacon, compared to bacon then it is what it is (not bacon is the vegan or vego replacement for the thing I can't deal without at 9 oclock in the morning) atleast there are people with kids small enough to fit into the back of a mustang.
