Focus ST 'Skunkworks Edition'

First shot was about 5 weeks ago, taking some shots for a calendar and the second was at XR5OC happy laps in October.

Havnt done much with the car to be honest debating what i want to do.

Managed to get the old girl in UK Fast Ford mag. I order the mag and thought it would be a good idea, never thought it would get in there. Well chuffed.

Not sure mate i havnt had a look only got it via a friend on Facebook he is in Scotland, since it is such a long time for my issue to arrive ive asked him if he can purchase a couple of copies and send over in advance.
Its only in the readers ride bit but looks like a decent write up

Been a while, nothings changed



Going into Ford tommorrow to fix the bonnet latch i broke Also ordered a checker kind of decal for the rear that incorporates the ST badge in orange. Didnt cost much so if it looks rubbish ill remove it, hence why the 'skunk' and dreamscience badge have been removed, DS badge now resides on the grill. Hopefully Ford dont need to bust my grill to get the bonnet open.

Well unfortunately its time to move the Skunk on, i can assure you it will be missed thoroughly. It is the kind of car that i always turn around when i walk away from it, when it came on boost it was so much fun, there wasnt and still isnt anything i can fault the car. But i was looking to purchase something else around the end of warranty time, but the right car came along. I was going to wait but alas.

TBH, chalk and cheese. I love it, well i loved the old one too.

really? Apart from the specs, does the car drive that much different?

Its seems to corner a lot better and ride a lot better. It is a lot more refined, and speed is very deceiving.

Yeah was worth it i reckon.
Nothing major just yet. A US Spec grill, intake and maybe paint wheels.

I know i no longer have the XR5T but i thought id put up a cpl of my ST. Had it 12mths now. Mods havnt progressed how id like but alas i still very much love this car.
So far, a USDM grill, K&N, TripleR composites front splitter and plastic dipped wheels.

Added to this, i really do miss my old car a lot. If i knew where id be 12 mths later (Financially amongst other things) i would have kept the XR5. I do love the ST though.

The ST is a more refined better equipped car. Its less in brash with the way it goes about the task at hand. Its also deceptively quick. Guess I was spoilt by the noise of the 5 banger as well. Ain't anything like it.

-Airtec Stage 3 Front mount
-Mountune Intake
- Ispiri ISR7 wheels in a +40 offset
-Cobb filter
-Mountune front lip
Massive list but none done for a while. About to fit new pads all round and some new rubber on the rear.

Looking good DJ. My ST is Panther Black with black powdercoated wheels. I used to have a Frozen White XR5T like you and I miss that noise too haha. Definitely agree that as great as the ST is, it's a little too refined at times.
