Sooooooo, even after our phone conversation the other day, you still did not tell me what you spat. Piston, rings, valve, bore.......???? Need more info. Turbo engine failures 1 V8 failures 0

Wrong mr truck driver ....... ive had various cam and carburettor swaps trying to get the right combo happening, and the motor is comming out in December again for a solid roller cam to be installed, but have not lunched a motor yet. Long live the clevo !

Why did you rebuild the motor in the first place and if ya build it right the first time you never have to take it in an out all the time. He hasn't lunched his by the looks.

This thread has gone way off topic, sorry Simon, my fault......no Brians fault.

I know the cost's involved for what you are doing, and it hurts, but hang in there mate. I have come to the point now that i dont care anymore how much money i throw at cars, it all goes away when you take it out on a run or a cruise, hang in there mate and keep us updated.

was on a car run 2 newcastle when she started playing up, started surging in the high rpms then missing and coughing and a lil knocking, after that I went easy on it, took her back 2 the shop and number 5 is down on comp :( it still drives but knocks over 3000rpm, looking at a bent rod I think, Lol havent even told my other mates yet as they will take the out of me haha, I have a BA mk2 gas bottom end on the way aka the (typoon bottom end) should only be out of action for another 2 weeks,
Im kinda excited because now I get to pull it all apart and explore a B-series motor more close up

Should be good, typhoon bottom end meens I can start pushing high 300's but my box will need a lil more work

its just insane, I hit 420rwhp and thought thats more then enough for me.....turns out its not it feels way 2 tame just cant get enough of it really really keen 2 rip her apart and check it all out

Update, Ladies and Gents! and here we have my BA XR6 Turbo "Mk1.5"

What a weekend! she rolled out of the workshop last night at 2am and im stuffed but she is alive once more

Mods to date:

Nizpro Valve springs
600cc injectors
Nizpro Flapper valve and ported internal wastegate
Nizpro 15psi Actuator
Rapid V2 front mount intercooler kit
X-force cat converter
Walbro 600hp intank fuel pump
Under battery cold air intake
F6 Typhoon Block

and a new tune is on the way

The old block is in the bin, Looking forward 2 the new tune so I can take advantage of the F6 block

Good to see her on the road again mate. Looks great in the pics. Went down to DJR performance today and meet Walter while dropping off mims XR for some work. After chatting with Walter, yours and mine are quite obsolete, one of our new members, Max, has just spent a fortune with DJR performance and is pulling some numbers that are quite considerable above ours from his xr6 turbo. Back to the drawing board lol.

Keep the car and enjoy what it does have. In a year or 2, spend some more on it then. Be a shame to sell the girl.

Without hairdryers there'd be nothing for the weezer and clevo boys to take the Pi$$ out of. Except each other. Make for a dull and boring forum at times.

Yeah its at the point where it needs major mods 2 go harder, Ive priced up a atomic short motor and new box, will punch out around 500+rwkw but then theres the diff, cv's etc etc etc $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$ lol

Been looking at a few F6 Tornado utes also

: Nice white one big dish rims hard top and slammed, tuff as crusier and nothing will explode

Well done on all the work mate, it looks tops - don't sell it! You must of gone to take those latest pics on Sunday evening?, I was there in the white BF finishing taking some snaps just as you rolled up.
