What is that on the EH bonnet and dash?
Interesting custom, owner has a sense of humour

And is that a Mainline ute near the 6wheeler?

Steampunk style of custom.

Looks to be a 55 Cadillac tail fin welded to the bonnet and lots of gas pipe fittings and gauges mounted throughout the build.

Real MG next to the 6 wheeler, yes Ford Mainline next to that. There's a couple on full reg around here.

Couple more classics.

Galaxy

LH

Ford ute and Corvair beside

one for Spritley. HZ wagon (deadringer for my first car.)

I got me a Chrysler, it seats about 20.

On my morning walk i spotted two that are not common. the first was an Imperial (a Chrysler product). It was being worked on in the driveway of a factory and the other was a very original looking EK Holden complete with venetians. Unfortunately I didn't have my phone with me.

Two immaculate old Ford's this morning. The first a stunning orange XW GS sedan, the second a bright red 65 Mustang Fastback.

I saw a Humber Vogue (around 1964)this morning. Its years since I have seen one. At first I thought it was a Hillman Minx but it had twin headlights.

One day you saw a clapped out Magna with a coat hanger aerial bent into the shape of Australia for the last time and didn’t even know it.

A few days ago, I drove (in our Territory) from Williamtown Airport to Stockton at knock-off time, which is mainly an oncoming line of cars a few seconds apart, over 10km. Don't know why, but I decided to count the Aussie built cars.
One VE Commodore and two BA/BF Falcons. That was it. Nothing older. Depressing.

Hey Rokwiz, what is that one? Went looking for Chrysler Imperial wagon but nothing looked like it on the results. Looks mint. Pillarless, too, wow!

It's funny Ira, I went out to Melbourne's SE and not really knowing the place, came across a suburb where every car parked on the street was Aussie, for street after street, everything from EL to FG. Somewhere north and inland of Frankston I guess?
