This chapter is now closed. There were many reasons to let it go, and I am sad and yet happy to be at this stage. I was never in a position to have a car that turned heads, and ever since I was licenced to drive, I envied those I knew, that had the money to spend on XB GT's and such which were only a few years old at the time. So when the chance to grab this car came along I took the plunge and set out to achieve what I had always wanted. A car that was able to win an award. Done!! At Adelaide this year. A car that was quick. Done! A documented 12.6 @ 114mph.

Now I am going to concentrate on paying my house off, and doing some things that have been neglected at home. For now, I will take my time and see what transpires. As I have said in my first post of this thread, my T was my first Ford. And it won't be my last. I thank all of the good folk involved in the build.

I can't believe how much we are loosing on these cars.

I know... But I have a philosophy on how to deal with the loss. I'm out 30k over 3 years and have enjoyed every minute. Some spend that in holidays over the same time frame and get 3 months of enjoyment.

It sad to hear Kev the the ORSMT will no longer be around... what a beautiful car and pefect in every way.

I hope this doesn't mean we won't be seeing your ugly face anymore and i hope there will be a new project on the way...
