For a very long time the sciences have differentiated between gender and sex, its how they understand what they are talking about!

It’s not as bad as babies born with both sets of genitalia and the Doctors making a decision on their gender early in life by operating to remove one set and finding out a few years later they got it very wrong leaving a devastated victim to grow up with the mistake as has been documented on many occasions.

It's now accepted to leave these operations for a few years to allow a better determination on the actual gender of the child.

I'm a believer that most people that fall outside of what society wants us to believe is the norm know about it at a very young age.

What action is taken if any is not for me to comment on and should be left up to those involved who at least have a lot of professionals around them to help with the decision making process.

I also believe these people are just unlucky to fall into low percentage categories where they have to suffer injustice and prejudices from those who feel superior in their knowledge because they are simply fortunate enough to associate with the larger proportion of the species.
