Hello, I'm Kyle from country S.A.
I meet some lads at the Heathcote Drags, For performance ford mag, Ford nationals, who told me about this site. It is great, people from all around the county putting their 2cents worth in. My XBGT ran 19 Ten Second passes, in a row. As a street car, with Rego. Over 40 Tens in all. It now is standard and back to original. I have a photo in the members section, worth a look. My wife thinks i'm hooked on this site.LOL. |

G'day, First post around here.
I went searching the internet for a place to get help with my latest project and found this place. Funnily enough I never found/searched for such a place when I was in any of the car clubs here in Perth. But hey, first time for everything. Anyway a brief intro. My name is Jared and I live in Perth. I have had a fair few Fords over the years but as of late only a sensible CL Focus hatch and an EA Falcon GL. My last project car was an EF XR6 I have recently picked up my latest project which is a 1960 Fairlane which I'm going to restore back to a good driving condition and was hoping the people around here might be able to help. Anyways Hope to speak to you all and Hang around for a while. |

Hi everybody(dr nick voice)
i dunno if i introduced myself yet or not. im Damien, 26 recently married, live in figtree with my wife & our Budgie Lee Roy. i drive a 1993 subaru liberty lx (fwd model) not awd like the gx & rs models. i used to drive fords they were my 1st 2 cars, saving up so one day i will have another ford to fix up my 1st car was a 1977 escort sedan, 1600 ohc motor with auto i installed a custom cd player & speakers into it then found some 13x6 speedy wheels for it had 185/60/13's on the front & what looked massive on the rear were 205/60/13's it had some grip, added driving lights it was a mad little car. ended up selling it for $400 a few years ago after i smashed it going too fast up mount keira(near wollongong) Then i bought a 1986 ford telstar(same as a mazda 626) it was the 2.0L with 3 speed auto behind it worst thing was replacing nearly the whole engine piece by piece over 3 years & $6 grand in reciepts for it. added 6x9's to the stock tape player & a set of tx5 turbo wheels to it. sold it 2 years ago with 4 months rego fot $700. Miss the escort the most being my 1st car i will find another one one day & fix it up either sedan/pano/rs2000 i would like but gotta save for a bigger house & get a job. anyways enough ranting. cheers Damo py:

Hello All, :sm_headba
Living In NZ, Havent found any great forums here yet..this one IS good by the way. Driving a ford Telstar Tx5 Xri 1993, She's the 2.5 V6 Quad Cam model, Love it to bits..Free Flowed Exhaust (amazing Sound if I do Say so myself), K+N Inlet, Autotechnica Steering Wheel, 4 x 50watt Passion Head deck, 2 x 6x9's powered by 600watt amp, full blue seatcovers, and a blue led interior light. Future plans are 16 or 17 inch wheels, but I dont want to give up too much ride quality.Experiences? But still on the performance path.. Thinking a Chip, Have browsed the PowerChip Australia Site, and Seems like the way to go, KW per dollar seems good....Anyone out there have any advice for or against this move? Also anybody got any performance tips for this car?, This is the first car I've played with..well the first car I've had any money to play with. So I've yet to formulate a plan of attack. Cheers Guys, Keep up the Good Work. R.I.P. Peter Brock, Steve Irwin and Mark Porter, My thoughts go out to all family and friends. |

Hi, I've crusing this site for a few days or so. I have an XD, with 351 clevo, C4, LSD. It has rough red paint at the moment, its dropped alround with a set of simmons fr17s. Future plans include new paint, tidy the interior and some more mods to the motor.
i have been a bit of a ford fan for a long time. Previous fords are 5 cortinas, an ED XR8 Sprint that was poly green with heaps of bolt on engine mods. Great site. |

Nice XL Spoon
Gday, I've come to check out this forum to see if its as childish as the rest of the internet. I farchenwellhowpso! I've never owned a Ford and couldn't really see myself buying one. I do however admire the Turbo variants of most Fords (except XR5 blechh!) especially the old XR3 Turbo AWDs and recently gave birth to a massive grin when punting a friends Turbo Territory. Cheers Skyhawk

Hi, I'm a new member. Kind a new to Fords too. I was no fan until a mate managed to organise me a Focus ST170 for a week. Though I smoked the clutch 3 times (it was the demo that was lent to car magazines so it had had a rough life) it was the best handling front wheel drive car I had ever driven (including my 2 VW Golf GTi 16v's) even though my then Golf VR6 was quicker in a straight line.
Don't hold it against me: I'm a recent immigrant from South Africa... |

Kinda newbie to Fords too, I did have Ford Escort 1973 as my first car 10 years ago, this was in Finland. Now been almost three years in Australia without a car, and just got my permanent residency to Australia, so i thought that it's time to get a car under my @ss. So today I'm going to pick up 2003 Falcon BA XT sedan from the dealer. Can't wait
So, Hi to You all!! |

wots doin pplz, obviously I am new here but also new to fords. Use to own GM rides but I got myself an XB Coupe coz it always appealed to me and I reckon those Coupes break down the barrier between Holdens/Chevs & Fords.
Anyways at the moment my ride aint got nuffin special in it for now, but I am looking for any old Ford wreckers in the Sout East suburbs of Melb. cheers, chris |

Hey Everyone, Ive been on FF for about a week now! LOL! And Im becoming an addict Happily though!
Well, Im 17, and proudly say I have an AU1 Fairmont Ghia!! And Love her... Coming from a family of ford enthusiasts there wasn't a hope in hell of my dad lettin his lil girl buy anything else... AU's have appealed to me since they were released, AND i can honestly say my baby is the best car i've owned (after having a ford telstar, ford corsair, VL & VR Commodores)
