I went to the Toowoomba Pizza Hut dine in restaurant last week. I decided to attend a public memorial service for someone I used to know who moved up there before his life was taken in a head-on.

I stopped in on my way home. The price wasn't too bad either ($15.95 including drinks?), but not as cheap as it was in the '90s. I didn't eat as much as I could've as I was in a hurry, but I would certainly love it if there was still one in my local area.

I dont know about you guys, but Sizzler in the 90's was the place to go to. Please don't mistaken the Sizzler of today to be anything like the days of old.

We used to have a La Porchetta here too that disappeared. All you can eat Pizza Hut. I miss those days.

Sizzler used to be awesome. Now it's really not. I just wonder if that's because I have grown up and know what real food is like now?

Sizzler was awesome. Why they ever shut that place I'll never know, was always full and difficult to get in!!!

Pizza Hut still has an all you can eat at Marion. As far as I'm aware its the last of its kind in SA?

La Porchetta wasn't too bad. I remember going to the one on Anzac Hwy a few times... I think it was where the Junction now is at Morphettville from memory.

I know, its a sad but true fact but we grow up :(

about 12 months ago i had to pick my mum up from Champbell town station after she had been on a cluntry link train, as my kids hadnt seen their grandmother since she left over a month earlier I thought I'll take mum out for dinner and the kids can catch up, and then it hit me theres one of the few remaining Sizzlers in sydney right near there so we went much to the warnings of my wife that it wouldnt be like I remembered it from my childhood

OMG it was industrial, the clincher was when the kids and I went up to get desert and an unsupervised girl was eating smarties, marshmellow chunks & lime jelly with her hands straight out of the big trays with her hands

to this day my kids still ask to go back they loved it

That's probably the reason why the Sizzlers in QLD had an outbreak of health issues all those years ago. Such a shame

One of those was caused by some muppet putting rat poison in the food.

And yes it is not the same as a I remember when it was still open in VIC.

We've given it the nickname Spewers because the last time we went (in Ipswich mind you) a father made his kid eat all the food stuffed on its plate to the point the kid spewed everywhere.

Surprised no one wished Ford to bring back the Cleveland in the 2014 Falcon - carby and all including the fantastic smooth shifting Toploader.

You believe that eventually Cardigans will come back into style, once Ford "Wakes Up!" and start producing brand new Carbie fed Clevelands for the BC FH Falcon.
You believe all fuel bills should be 3 digits long on a weekly basis.
Even though your toploader has the feel of a stiltson wrench in bucket of river rocks you think its pretty slick.
You truely believy handling involves a threefold increase in horsepower.
You cruise aimlessly seaking out that one last bowser of real super, not that poofy premium.

Hallucinations -
Cleveland owners dont have hallucinations, they tell it like it is with frank honesty and integrity. Even when they are hallucinating.

Physical Traits -
Back injuries from the mistaken belief that 3 adult males can actually lift out an FMX unassisted.
Hand injuries due to clutching the wheel during takeoff in a vain attempt to control the vehicle.

Mullet Hairdos. Sideburns. Flannel Shirts. Winnie Blues.

Treatment
Being dragged kicking and screaming into the present on a daily basis.

Prognosis
Untreated the cleveland owner will continue to live in the past, until they are all gathered together in a theme park on an island, to live out the remainder of their lives in their traditional dinosaur way.
