The one in my rear view mirror.
Don't take this seriously I only have an N/A VL. Anyway probably the XY. Just a timeless shape IMO. |

1) XD - clean, sharp lines were perfect for the time and that instantly showed the XC range up for their 1972 based shape. Each XE and XF update looked worse.
2) XP - in this case the last of the shape got it right, added some attitude to the decent basics of the original style. 3) BA - a major rescue and toughening up of the apologetic AU fail. A XR6T or XR8 still looks horn in the right colour with factory 18's. 4) XB - just like it, and I was in awe of my brother's 302 at the time my dad only had an asthmatic 1.6 Escort Mk 2! 5) FG G6ET in Velvet with Cashmere interior with 19's - because I'm biased! |

Was down at Phillip Island yesterday and I saw an XY in Monza Red.....Pretty cool but I just love the shape of an XB Coupe.
I'm not a big fan of the modern Falcons but I do like the BA range (particularly the colours, I'm painting my Capri Octane) If I had to pick 3 to go into my garage, I'd go with. 1. XB Coupe in Black 2. XY Panel Van in Vermilion Fire 3. XM Ute in Powder Blue Alternate would be "The Ronster".....Our dirty white AU2 Ute which has been the family workhorse since 2002. |

I think the FG is the best looking Falcon. Especially the XR models. I hate the wheels on the GT.

XA-XC Coupes, cobra the ultimate looker. Just love those curvaceous flanks. The Jennifer Lopez of the car world. Ggrrrrowwll.
XA GT Sedan, my first love. Looked tuff as nails. EL XR6/8 - WITHOUT the extra body kit. Not necessary on what is a good looking car to begin with.

I heard Commadore owners would rather follow a EF over an EL XR due to the EL's ugly orange tail lights.

60's: XR & XT Falcon GT, XR & XT Falcon Wagon
70's: XB Falcon GT Coupe and Sedan, XB Falcon Ute & Panelvan 80's: XE Fairmont Ghia ESP 90's: ED Falcon XR8 Sprint, EL Falcon XR6/8, & XH2 XR6/8 ute 00's: AU2 & AU3 XR6/8, BA & BF GTP, FG GTE PS: I agree with Bearman, the optional extra bodykit on the EF/EL XR range is overkill - it takes that nice clean sleek shape of the EF/EL and makes it bloated instead.

For me the AU II and III XR's without the body kits are right up there.
Still a fantastic looking car overall and with some modern minor tweeks front and rear it would crap all over some of the spaced out stuff on offer nowadays Really love the BFII phoons as well.
