How about we wait till he posts before we continue with rubish...

The fact is that after all the rubbish that has been posted:
- if it is the car he hopes it is
- and its in the condition that it has been described
- and then he gets it for the price he has been quoted

then 'Total Driver' will get the last laugh on all of us and leave us all crying in our beers

Until that time he should expect some good natured ribbing - he started it :

You guys are all sooky-lala's!

It is definately not a hoax.

However, the car's not mine yet. That's why the title says something about not getting too excited.

Latest news: You may recall some 200 or so posts ago that the guy got the car as payment for work done. Well, today apparantly the previous owner started giving him problems about the car and says he wants it back!

I told him I've got the perfect place to hide it - IN MY SHED!

He's working on sorting this fella out so I can pick it up his weekend.

But if it all goes pear-shaped, 5hit happens Don't need the grief right now!

Cheers,

Can't believe this waffle is still going and that I'm contributing to it.

35 days ago we were told "The guy said I could have it for $1000"

1 day ago previous owner gets involved????

Its a shame sweet FA happened in the 34 intervening days, like jamming 10 green notes in the pocket and heading off trailer in tow?

Anyone with half a brain that received a car as part payment would ensure previous reg/owner details etc were included so there is NO arguement as to ownership. That and a receipt for the goods of some sort.

There are also laws for abandoned goods etc...to cover these situations.

If the car is not the shed owners property, the previous owner can have him charged with theft. Simple?

There seems to be an increasing level of male cow poo in the air involved with this whole scenario, I'm going to keep an eye on where it falls. I don't think it will be Totally Safe anywhere...

It is now the end of the weekend. :Reverend:

And your interweb is indeed functioning because you're online right now.

Where's the pix? Or did your shed explode in a fit of anticipation just before you went out to obtain the alleged coupe? :Reverend:
