Thumbs up Re: Welcome to New Members - Post here to say gday!

Hi Everyone...........

I need some advice on modifying an F6.......FG series...........

I have done some research and see benefits of E85 tune, with 14% more power over Ron98...........

Does anyone have any modifieg FG F6 series cars for sale??

I am looking for ones from a reputable workshop like Autotech Engineering in NSW, or Nizpro in Melbourne. For your information there is a clampdown on cars that do not meet roadworthy, so I need one that is Euro 3 or 4 complaint for EPA reasons...

Nizpro stage 2 kit makes 320 rwkw, or 360 rwkw with E85,
and is actually better for the engine once properlu retuned.

Nizpro stage 3 is 360 rwkw, or 41o rwkw withE85.

Willing to speak to anyone who has a good F6 from a reputable workshop.

Thanks

Hi people, iam new here so I hope you can help me out. Iam stranded in Swan Hill have a leak under the steering gear, looks like I maybe losing oil but the dipstick says no, I did run over a tyre on the road going to Wesr Wylong a few weeks ago 3.00am in the moring truck tyre did not see it, so i think this may have coursed the problem if it is the steering gear mind you I have just driven from Adelaide going to NSW Tamworth can i keep going or will it need to be repaired now there is a wrecking yard here in Swan Hill....thanks guys

Hi all,

Joined a little while back but have yet to post. Recently purchased a 1974 XB Fairmont Coupe for a very reasonable price, and will commence teardown and rebuild later this year.

It looks a bit rusty, but it actually isn't. There is virtually no rust in all the usual spots (boot seals, parcel shelf, wheel arches etc), however there is going to be a battle with the bog. There are some pretty serious cracks in the LHS rear quarter, and I have a feeling that the entire quarter is bog.

It's running a mild 351C that runs well (matching numbers), but will receive a full rebuild nonetheless, non factory 4spd top-loader, 9" diff, lowered suspension, but at the moment, a lot of it is still a mystery.

The plan is yet to take shape, but as the project begins gaining speed, I'll start up a thread and post regular updates.

Cheers!

Hello everyone,

My name is Todd and I am from South Australia. I currently own a grey BA Ford Falcon XR6 (My first car ever), it is stock as a brick as I have very little knowledge about cars unfortunately.

I would love to upgrade to a MKII BF XR6T in either blue, toxic green, yellow or orange and so that up. I do need quite a lot of money before my dreams come true though!

Anyway, it is nice to meet you all and I hope to learn a thing or too from this community!

Hi all,
Funny as it may seem, But I have always been a Holden Man,
But I ended up with four Fords, All at the same time,
Two Effies, F100 and a F350, and a 94 Fairmont Ghia and an 80 Ford LTD,

I drove a Holden 76 4 door GTS for 30 years, The 2 Effies are my work trucks, Had them for years, Why Effies you may ask, Holden dont make any thing like them, They are Magic trucks and are near undestructable, Love them both,

I found this forum because I am trying to sell my Fairmont Ghia, in one peice or part it out,
And a few other bits and pieces of Ford parts, Fairmont GHIA and LTD parts and F350 Parts as well.
I am just retired and need to cut down on my vehicles,

I will be here for a while, so see you round,

Cheers Brian,

Hi people

does anyone know if a standard fomoco single barrel carburetor off a 170cid will bolt straight onto a 200cid engine with no need to modify?? i have been told that i need to put a bigger jet in it other wise it will lean out? also can i put the 170cid starter motor onto the 200cid? reason i ask is that the 170cid has a manual gearbox and the 200cid is an automatic and starter motors are different sizes?? thanks. hope someone can help.

Hi everyone. Owned Fords all my life starting with my XD. Had an NC2 for a while and am now the proud owner of a BF Fairmont. Had an AU for awhile there but I'd rather not talk about that or even acknowledge it further.

Cheers, talk to yas soon.
