Why is the media trying to divide this country? All they’ve done for two or three weeks is pore petrol on this fire. Any of these people can say whatever they want for a 10 second sound grab and nobody takes them to task over the accuracy of what they are saying. Then the dribble becomes the narrative.
And there certainly wasn’t tens of thousands of people protesting as reported. Lies. |

Government on speeding: Slow down, a few more minutes added to your trip won’t really matter.
Government on tollways: This will save a few more minutes on your trip, which really matters. |

Why have a Bar section if people cant talk about anything they would at a said Bar?
May as well go and delete 80% of the posts on this forum then, as there are only a few that specifically relate to cars. We will have put the word "Falcon" in all our posts now so they are appropriate |

Why is it the local BP treats me like a criminal by asking to pre-pay for fuel and use the night window whereas the local 7-11 treats me like a customer by not doing these things. Guess who got my business tonight!

Good Ole BP, I don't know if its just the BP's around me, but does anyone notice they are the first to bump the price up and the last to put it down?, I have avoided using any BP outlet for the past 6 years for this very reason and I don't price shop, I would rather a United or 7-11 get my money even if they are the same price.

Why is it, that I have received no notifications from the ford forum for a long time (many months), now all of a sudden I'm starting to get daily notifications again? Went through a bit of hard time back then, didn't really notice and completely got out of the habit, never chased it up.

Metro & Apco in my area get my business for fuel, no issues with quality and always reasonably low price compared to the others. BP & Shell are notoriously priced high beyond the joke. |

We have a United and Ampol and the prices area about the same though the local price can be a few cents dearer than the same outlets 19 kms away.I asked Raj at the United about the difference. He said they are told to check the local opposition and set their prices .5c cheaper. So I presume they all do something similar. Some people complain about United fuel but I would have driven 6-700000 kms on their diesel without any problems

There are a few things Russ is currently trying to fix in the background which may be why this has happened. Just FYI, and certainly no dramas for posting it in here, but for these sort of questions, could you post them in site support so that we become aware of them and can subsequently fix them. Russ and the mod team do not read every thread/post, though I do see the irony of the fact that I have indeed responded. |

Out at the lake today for the first Seadoo run of the season. Why is it that parents have no problem allowing their young kids to play at the waters edge on the boat ramp, when there's hundreds of metres of good sand either side of it, and very little risk of their precious young'un being hit by a reversing car and trailer?

Why is it that I pay $160 a month for Foxtel, then get spammed with ads before the start of a streamed movie or tv series. And yet, the $14.99 per month subscription to Youtube Premium yields absolutely no ads whatsoever.
The ads on Foxtel were palatable when there was simply no other opposition, but not when the market is flooded with streaming services. Thin ice Foxtel.

But...................the way the category has become a complete joke, I haven't watched a full round in years now. I didn't even watch Bathurst last year. So guess there is no reason for me to keep the service.

We got rid of our 2 Foxtel boxes a couple of years ago. The monthly fee just wasn’t worth the extras compared to streaming services.

Why is it, that someone who has bought a high end or enthusiast-minded car, lets pick a number here and say $100,000+, that they then baulk at paying $30 for a bottle of car wash soap or tyre dressing.
A strange mentality that I don't understand. You've paid the premium for the performance model of a car aimed at car enthusiasts, but you see paying a fraction of that cars price on something to maintain your investment as a needless extravagance? Equally strange when said person asks what's "best" to use on their car? I don't get it.
