Thanks Doc.
I thought it was a bit odd that it had a Dodge badge. The 1st Val ute I remember having that badge was the later square shape utes. Not being a Val man, I don't know the model I'm talking about. You, no doubt, do know the one I mean.

Cheers.

Not so much uncommon, as uncommon condition - an E90 that looked showroom-fresh. Not tidied up, not dripping in “product” but as if just a few days old.

Sitting down outside Lindfield station on Saturday morn (election day) saw a whole swagger of uncommon BM's, Jags, Mercs, Ferrari's, Bentley's and Rollers.

It was like the who's who of classics on show.

Even spotted my first Rolls SUV, (jury is still out)

And who can forget the TE Corty wagon... yep, big block 4.1 4 speed... tacho dash and all. Can't say I'm a fan of the stance, but hey, whatever floats his boat...

It's kinda bugging me lol, that TE just needs the FORD mudflaps,

Saw two cars today that were note worthy.. One was a really faded red daily driver Holden VG SV ute.
The badge said SV, not HSV. Didn't have the 5 star wheels, and wasn't a Maloo either.
This being the other absolute gem of a find. Can't believe it was in a car park, in todays really s-hitty weather here. Looks like it might have a rear disc brake upgrade among other goodies..

Cheers,

One Man.

gramted this is on FB marketplace, but an interesting looking piece, never hear of them

1996 Mitsuoka galue AU$19,500
Driven 83,000 km Automatic transmission Exterior colour: Grey · Interior colour: Grey Fuel type: Petrol

Excellent condition for its age. On historic registration (not transferable). Very economical straight six cylinder two litre Nissan engine. Very low kilometres.
Air conditioned, power steering and driver air bag. Body reminiscent of mid fifties-early sixties Bentley(front) and mid sixties Cadillac (rear). European styling combined with Japanese reliability.

I'm guessing a 76 CK SE judging by the number plate.

Reminds me, spotted a red custom CF Beddy cruising along the beachfront.
Notable features, frenched aerial, one piece fibreglass tailgate and HQ-Z van/wagon/ute tail lights.

Hope to see it again.

I saw one a few years ago at the side of the highway at Albion Park Rail. It had some nasty damage on the side panel that I guessed was a result of the failure.

I spotted a silver GTR-XU1 Torana in traffic yesterday. I’d forgotten what they sounded like. We’d stopped at lights and I was reaching for the phone to take a photo but took the advice from my front seat passenger about mobile detection cameras and put it away.
