Hey guys.
Now I'm most likely going to get jumped on for this..... I'm a holden man, However signed up to the forum as I was looking for some technical info. I ended up finding it before I was approved. Anyways, I'm a Mechanic from Vic. I work at a Nissan/Holden Dealership as a Technician. When I'm not there, I'm at home working on my own cars, looking after my family and working for myself trying to kick off my own business. I will post a thread of the customers car... A XF Falcon speedway car. I was looking for some info on the 250 x-flow engine. (Torque settings) Well hope you don't hate me that much and hope to talk to some of you Cheers Nackerz |

Hi everyone ! First of all, Great site, I've sadly only just discovered it, however I look forward to getting to know you guys and learning some new things.
I am the proud owner of a 05 BA MK2 XR6 N/A, which has faithfully served as a family car for over 6 years, and shows little sign of her age at around 180,000 kms. For the longest time I've wanted to do various mods, but with a tight leash around my neck,my enthusiasm has been limited to replacing fluids, hoses and light bulbs , until now well hopefully, seeing as the missus now has a daily driver, my once proud stallion reduced to a meek shadow of her former self, will have the chance to shine again ! As I only really have praise and encouragement to offer, (little in the ways of experience) I wholeheartedly appreciate any and all information received. Thanks Johnno |

Hello everyone,
My names Mel, first time Ford owner in 28yrs of owning cars.My daily drive is a BA MKII XR6 which I've had since 1st week in Feb this year.I came out of a 2.5 litre twin turbo AWD Mitsubishi Legnum VR4. I'm a bit overwhelmed how big this forum is, so may take a bit to work my way around the site. My husband and I own 4 cars at the moment. His daily is a Subaru CS10(Club Spec) WRX. A 1999 Mitsubishi EVO 6 which we've had for about 3 yrs only comes out of the garage for cruising mostly or if we need to blow the cobwebs out of our systems lol. Recently he bought a 1997 Holden HSV VS V8 as bit of a project car. |

Gday All, thought i had better introduce myself, my name is Tony, i have had numerous Fords over the years, last year i cracked the ***** with cars and sold everything i had and bought a few bikes instead (cbr250r, vtr1000sp1 and a cr250). i love them all...... but guess what, the bloody car bug is starting to hit again, i looked at an AU Fairmont Ghia (5lt) the other day, now i am starting to look into the 75th anniversary Ghia, 5lt, of course. Pretty rare aren't they? oh well patience is a virtue, so they say.

G'day Ford forum members. This is my first time on the site I have just purchased a 1963 Ford Thunderbird, but I am finding it difficult to get parts. EG: Ball joints, tie rod ends, pitman arms and so on. Can any member let me know where I can source these and all Thunderbird parts in Sydney or Aust.

Hi all have been enjoying the read. Just got what I thought was a standarded ef gli of a mate who up graded. Being a bit handy with cars I will do almost all the work my self. Doesn't need much for rwc. Windscreen, gas tank, brakes, hopefully that is all.
About it not being standard I just found out it has an xr motor and has the opt20, so from what I have read its an ex cop car. Speedo goes up in 1 or 2 k incriments and there is lights above the passanger doors. Still doing a bit of reading hopefully it has an LSD in it but I can't tell and it's hard to get under the car. Any way I won't babble in to much. Looks Like good community u have here. Peace out. Ro. |

Hi, I am new to this site and I am really looking forward to learning more about my Ford and how I cna improve it and get ideas from other members.
I have a ZH Fairlane that I want to do as a daily driver. It does not have original running gear etc in it, so basically I want to make a mild custom out of it, so it looks like a classic and drives like a late model car. I am looking at buying XR6 runnning gear with a manual box and was wondering if anyone can help with advice on what I need to keep from the donor car. I know about keeping the computer and any modules directly connected to the engine. I am also aware of the problem I will face with the speedo drive being electronic on later cars. I really wanted to know about the engine mounts etc. The car is going to be dedicated LPG, so the emission crap is pretty much redundant as far as 02 sensors etc I believe. Looking forward to any helpful hints. Thanks Glen |

Hi Ford members my first post I need to fix my ford laser 1996 it wont start it has fuel at the fuel rail and spark at the plugs it turns over with the starter but wont start. I was driving home it started to overheat and just stopped and since has not started. My garage 1992 f150 4x4 351w zf5 speed dark blue, nissan 300zx z32 tt gunmetal grey and my little ford laser red would appreciate a system to track down my laser problems. |
