Seem to be getting harder and harder to get with less places stocking and selling them. Bit of a shame, who doesn't love whipping their own cream!

All this sizzler talk. They still exist here in W.A. Last year I promised to take the kids as it was my birthday and I felt nostalgic (was always a birthday favorite) we got there at 5:15 and promptle went the 20km back to mums and ordered pizza. At 5:15 the line was out the door and they were full. I wish they did bookings lol.

I miss microwave nachos to go, 7/11 sold them until 2005.
Someone got sick and they were recalled never to come back.

God no. That would be a waste of precious nitrous oxide. Like I said, these ones are for whipping cream! ;)

Hate admitting to this , but a Victorian company called "MON" that makes the best Worcestershire sauce. thicker than normal so it sits on whatever you put it on. went of the shelves here in NSW many years ago. :-(.

"SOMETHING"(XC Cobra?) IN 1988 TOLD ME TO START COLLECTING CARS so I wouldn't catch myself saying
"I WISH THEY STILL MADE THAT CAR".......! ************************************************** ********* I always liked Fords and Holdens equally;they both had their pros and cons, as any un-biased would admit. I bought my first car in 1968; a 1957 Holden FE , and still have it. Cost $50 with a "real" RWC ! My first brand new car was a Ford Allan Moffat XC COBRA 5.8L and still have it.... XA XB coupe didn't excite me enough, but when I saw the XC Cobra.....wow! (but I was tempted by the 1976 XB GT 4 door: beautiful!) My uncle bought a brand new Monza Green XY GS Fairmont 351 T-Bar factory fitted with GT Dash & Steering Wheel in 1971 and now it's mine. Auntie bought a brand new blue AP5 Valiant Regal Push Button; yep you guessed it, added to my collection! As a young lad in the 80's, a client from our Workshop "gave me" his 1937 Straight 8 Oldsmobile; still with me. FORD GTV6 CAPRI MK1(Wild Plum like XA)......Recently (2013) purchased from a stranger. Turned out to be one of only 11 built in Australia with the up-rated 165 HP engine, etc, compared to all other V6's that were 144HP. What a "fluke" ! My others are EH Premiere with 202 Trimatic(like new), Wolseley 15/60(immaculate)#, 3x 3L BMW E21,E30,E39#......... EB Fairmont# (1 owner & immaculate), .........1988 HJ61 TurboDiesel "White Lightning"(my 2nd new car!), ........1986 Toyota Crown#, ........1959 Ford Prefect 100E#, ........1986 Celica ST162R#.............2001 T/Prado V6.........Mercedes 190E#.........Subaru 4wd s/w#.........1976 H Accord# (where you see [hash]# , this is for sale & needs a new owner looking for a project from easy to major!) |

KFC Cheesecake in the small plastic tube, loved that stuff
Fry's five centre chocolate bars Even the Orange fry's, have now been discontinued Had a Golden Rough at the Blood Bank the other day, about the 1/3 of the thickness of the good old days, still tasted good though. |

Myself and some mates had a 30 min lunch break so we paid our $8ish dollars and went to town. I think I demolished 15+ pieces in 20 minutes... The trial stopped soon after, they didn't know what hit them!

The restaurant was outside, in that pedestrian walkway. Our gluttonous heaven awaited us upstairs where they had made a setup much the same as Pizza Hut, seats around a central collection area. I was there with about 5 mates and they couldn't keep up with us! They would bring out 30 pieces and dump em and by the time they cooked another 30 we were ready for more ;) This would have been late 90's, perhaps between 97 and 99. I believe that KFC is no longer there.

I found some chips at my local supermarket 'Eta Spuds Ripple Cut Potato Chips' - from New Zealand. They only stocked them for like 2 months, but reminded me of the old Ruffles. I'd even go as far to say they were better. |
