This thread = :
First of all, you can't blame the pedals or your car. You hit the car, you are responsible. You installed the pedals did you not? Did you check to make sure they had adequate grip? Did you check to make sure you had enough room or gaps between the pedals not to jab the incorrect pedal? I have never heard of someone hitting the wrong pedal, can't see how that can happen, especially in automatic cars (WTF). All I can say is if I were you I would have definitely kept this story to myself, locked it up and thrown away the story key. Hope you learnt your lesson. ;)

G'day Lee, how's that Fairmo travelling? I have found a house in Ascot, still working things through ATM. Also got a tennant arranged for my place so we are pretty close to heading off. Didn't mean to pick on Chantra, he was just making a lot of noise for a random. And he's right, he does know people in AMC, I was just reading this one:
Nah, I'm not that nasty! I'm off to try and sleep again. |

...that would be the (failed) installation of the short shift, I presume..? : And no offense taken, GTP, as said..I see your point! :-) I laugh at others...and dont mind being laughed at myself - at all! :-) Oh well..this is Evo's thread! Erik...as so many members in this Forum said: Respect for the good sport you are...you are taking this well....why not just post the original version of your Thread? It wont make a difference now...in terms of bagging.... You remember my motto: "IF your gonna be dumb, you gotta be tough!" Post the original, I say! Show some class! :-))

Ha, Ha, Ha....... The Pedals failed but you put your foot on the wrong one - go Figure...... :
Just seen one of your other posts "Photos of your footwell" and am wondering from the pics of how you actually mixed them up with your nice blue lights - even Stevie Wonder would have been able to see which one was which... |

They say that the difference between a ford and a holden is the dipstick behind the steering wheel which comes factory in a holden, it seems this time that Mitsubishi also supplied this as a factory option.
As for buying a ford, comon guys, do you really want to inflict a ford to this guy! After all what did a ford do to deserve this guy? I wont bag the magnas as I had a Verada which was a great cruiser, but at the same time this guy is a classic example of the sort of person who is only able to buy a cheap ricer. Most of the Magna guys are great people, it is a pitty about the few like this brainless twat who are able to have a licence. You want to see mindless dribble, take a look at his AMC posts!

Ralliart, good to see you back. Just do us a favour and don't take it too personally, I don't think anyone would have handled being mocked a well as you have so congrats on being such a good sport. Besides, you are not the only grammatically challenged person on these forums.

erik, i'm not going to rip you off but what actually happened?
did you hit both pedals at once because they were bigger than the factory ones? or did the brake pedal come off when you put your foot on it? whatever caused it, you were pretty lucky, i know everyones having a bit of a laugh about it but if your autobarn pedals caused you to drive through a pedestrian crossing and hit someone no one would be laughing. FFS put all the riced up crap on your car if thats what you like, its your car after all. but things like pedals and other stuff that actually make the car dangerous are a really bad idea. |

If I ever looked at a new car that had factory versions of these, I would rip them off also and instantly bin them. Those 3 padels, (2 in auto) are capable of being deadly weapons, even in a cruddy slag-na. On a lighter note, I take my hat off to someone so willing to cop a major pay out session like that. It has been entertaining indeed. Perhaps you should 'please consider' cann-ing the slag-na and trade it in on somthing like an EA Falc poverty pack ex-taxi. That kind of 3.2 CFI 3 speed auto ex-taxi gas beast may be an appropriate project for you while on AFF. You could give it the 4x4 treatment, 14 inch steel wheels with ninja starrs as wheel covers (from Autobarn of course) , some immitation checker plate seat covers and matching floor mats, a monster tacho for that free revving 3.2 (4k RPM max read will be ample) the cheapest radio player on the market, some 4 inch 2 way super cheep cheep speakers and a truckload of pinstriping down the cars side and over its roof ending in a 3 foot tall turkey perch double side 3m taped onto the bootlid. Oops and forgot some of those gay aleetza tail lights. |
