Eg:
Mr Customer,
123 Xyz Street,
Bankstown,
Sydney,
NSW 2200

or:

Mrs Customer
76 Joe Blow Street
Bulimba
Brisbane, 4147
Queensland,
Australia

Sydney is its own suburb, as is Brisbane! The ONLY time you use the capital city name is if you actually live within the postcode. Such a common mistake.......
Thats because when you sign up for ebay in the U.S,they require town, city and state,so theres not much you can do.As you wont be able to continue your details unless its all filled out.I hope this now ends one of your hates.

You just reminded me of another pet hate...

People who assume that selling online must mean Ebay.

Oh, my Ebay account doesn't have 2 suburbs, 1 is what I entered and it works no worries.

And if we were talking about Ebay, how do the other 50% manage to get their address right?

Ebay,Paypal whatever,People only fill out the required fields and different countries have different requirments.I used U.S ebay as an example as I signed on over 10 years ago so didnt have to do the same with ebay Australia which would not have the same sign on address questions as the U.S.When I get items sent to me from Australian sellers they also put my capital city in the address as they get my details from paypal as it appears from my original sign on address.I hope this explains it.

Had more bad luck with share houses recently, I've have just left my 5th place because when the house was having a bbq last night had some friends around and all about 15 people all up in the process of said bbq some of their "friends" were gladly helping themselves to items in my room, these were sentimental things and well hidden but are now gone, so bloody frustrating. On a good note this week i got new springs for my car ( thanks xhbrad).

We are not the US, Ebay and Paypal HERE don't have two spots for a suburb.

I have my own site, and don't ask for 2 suburbs. People put it thinking it is the correct thing to do. Why, I have no idea.

This thread is about hates, it is something I certainly don't like and it is a very common 'misunderstanding' from my observations.

Yes, there may be a reason behind it but I don't really care...

That's not a good experience.

I lived in a share house for just over 1 yr in the Eastern Suburbs with 18 (not a mistake) 18 house mates and really didn't have much problems, well none actually. Was quite the experience actually.

I then bought a big house and ran my own for 3 years prior to getting hitched. When you are in charge you soon see how some people really don't give a toss about anything or anyone other than themselves.

I started with a 1pg contract for my house mates, and by the end it grew to 2 pgs with 1cm margins and size 11 font.

Find a place that has rules about quantity of visitors, parking, how 'whole house' events are planned / run etc.

Don't have rules in place, people do what they want.

Did your room have a lock?? Never stay in a place that does not allow you to lock your own door.

In the mean time, no one in the RH lane wants to let you in because it means they lose a position in peak hour traffic. God help them if they lose a position.....

Solution:
  1. Eat both
  2. Eat the spare the next day
  3. Buy smaller eggs
  4. Replace 'housemates' with stoners. They'll eat mountains of puddings and appreciate you making it for them.

People who can't park their big new fancy 4WD between the white lines in works car park.
You know the ones....the ones that have never ever seen a spec of dirt in its life.
So I have to drive 50 meters away to the next free spot because this 4WD driving ******** hasn't left enough space to park next to him.

you wouldnt be the only one who would get annoyed at that. I have heard some who have a habit of parking badly or greedy for more than one car park have had their car keyed/damaged due to their own incompetence/arrogance.

Some people need to realize just because you drive a 4wd doesn't excuse you from parking within the lines like everyone else. If you have that much of an issue parking a big @55 bus like that, perhaps park on the road or in an area where you are least likely to offend.

I drive a 4WD however it does go off road and I mean further than the nature strip however I do agree with you on the ones that are Toorak Tractors. In the theme of your post when I pick the kids up from after school care the amount of mums that can't park first go their Corolla/I30/ Hyundia Getz sized cars. No joke it takes some of them 4 goes to get it into the marked parking bay.

When someone overtakes you on a multi-lane road, pulls into your braking distance from the car in front and just simply turns off into a side road.

at my local shopping centre they have special trolleys whose wheels will lock up if they go outside a boundary zone. So you get a lot of empty trolleys sitting at the edge of the premises and the poor trolley person has to go out with their special tool to unlock the wheels on about a dozen of these trolleys that thoughtless people have left there.

I don't know what it is about trolleys that makes people so averse to putting them away. I always put mine away and if the car park is empty enough I will hop on and ride it to the trolley bay. Good fun.

I saw once an old man driving a Getz managed to park the car with the front left wheel on one line of the parking bay and the right rear on the opposite line. How hard is it to park a Getz?

Some people just park so badly and then don't care when they get out and see it is painfully obvious they failed at parking.

People who pull a pen out of the drawer tray / cup holder thinggo, try to use it and fail, try to scribble with it on scrap paper and fail, then put it back in the drawer or cup again so the process can be repeated....

The know-it-alls.

People with the "mine's bigger than yours" complex or ppl who just have this need to one-up everything someone says. Things like:
1. what something cost (of course theirs cost way more)
2. the time when..... (of course their time when...... has to be much more interesting to beat it)
3. someone getting a warning for speeding (of course they drove way faster than that when they were stopped)
4. the crazy lady who stopped by a friend's workplace asking for her check when she doesn't even work there (and of course, their crazy lady story goes that there's a crazy lady who takes showers in her front lawn and it just happened to be the other day)
5. a concert we all want to go to (and yes, they had backstage access AND front row seats to another concert)

.................and there's more. Come on, it's not a competition!
