Bec has been riding since she was 3 year old ... hee hee
She has been showing Arabians all her life ... and has bred a few and sold them.

I have only just entered the world of horses about 2-3 years ago ... and I am finding it pretty interesting indeed. Bec's parents run an agistment property in Western Sydney (right near Wonderland ... or what was Wonderland).

We were lucky ... we picked up this mare (in the pics) for free of someone who didn't want her anymore ... we have shown her (while she was in foal) and won a few Firsts at Ag shows. We are hoping this foal does well ... seeing as the Sire is an imported champion Stallion from the US (http://www.mulawaarabians.com.au/magnum.htm)

Her other show horse is a Gelding from Mulawa (Spirit) as well ... but the sire was from King Estate ... this Gelding won 2003 Australian National Champion 2 yo Gelding Pure Bred Arabain.

Here's a pic of the sire of Spirit (sire: Sarajevo KEI)

yeah , sure is gods country , 3 acres is enough to handle though , before the freindship farm bit it used to take 5 hours to mow and 2 hour to wipper snip the place, now 2 horses a dopey potty cow 3 sheep reduced that to 1 1/2 hours

heres the other at the daffodil carnival with gabby winning a ribbon

I just moved onto 10 acres at Kurrajong (away from Bec's parents) ... luckily one of the paddocks has quite a few trees ... but the steers will knock that down a bit and won't be so rough.

The other paddocks we have had to mow ... but will be putting horses on soon though ... but took us a bit to mow the 5 or so acres on the ride-on mower. Have just finished off the fencing last weekend ... so ready to move horses now thanks goodness ... cos mowing for 3-4 hours in painful ... hee hee

Lol I've got 2 goldfish that I've had since I was about 9 or 10 and am now 19. They are friggn huge. I'll try and get pics but the buggers are hard to spot cause they are always hiding. Yes a bit sad but goldfish are the only pets (if you can call them that) that I have.

Definately the first couple of nights were sleepless. Only thing we keep doing is counting to make sure all are ok. At least vet says all are ok.

This is my Jack... I got him 2 weeks ago, he is a 13 month old American Bulldog with a fantastic personality!

He was abandoned so I took him in and got him regestred and vaccinated and checked over... He really is HUGE, his back height is half way up my leg and he is still a pup!!

OK ... got an update pic of the foal (chewing on Bec's hand)

He's bigger than this now ... and losing his foal hair around his eyes and mussel (getting darker ... but will lighten later).

I'll update pics later on as I get them.

Sorry for the poor phone camera pic.

Jack is now about 10 months old, his hobbies include chewing up anything that isn't bolted down, trying to jump into the pool and trying to pretend he's the boss of the cat. On the plus side, he's very loyal, and actually does as he's told! A great friend, all in all!

My wife's dog Mickey, Maltese Terrier. Vet says she is about 1 yr old when we got her.

First pic is the day my wife saved her from the pound.
Second pic of her kicking back on the lounge.
