I have an FG1, and I have no issues at all with the ICC and temperature control. I had to look at the dash to even work out what you moight be complaining about. From what i can see FG2 is the same.
Now the FG1 Nav system is off the Ark, but that's since been replaced.

to be honest i love the FG wheel, hated the look of it until i held it. Has elements of the old style thick-grip BA2+ Fairmont Ghia/FPV wheel while having a great grip. I do agree the FPV wheel should have been more special though.

I like how they've used different panels of leather on the spokes of this Roman Autotek wheel. Looks far more interesting and premium.

that one doesn't look to have the mini-FPV style lumps on the wheel that are usually at 4 and 6 on the standard FG wheel

It's based off the XT wheel because it doesn't have the flat bottom

Chewing the fat at my local FPV Dealer, this afternoon - they've been allocated 17 of GT-Fs, and now have only 2 left !!!- (1 x manual, 1 x auto) talk about go like hot-cakes.

Should make the 351kw engine standard across the range.

I do wonder, though, if Ford are planning on making a higher mix of the high-end models (G6ET, XR6T and XR8) than they traditionally would have because they're expecting to get a lot of sentimental sales? Will anyone even buy a FH XT? I'd have thought that if you just wanted a car to go from place A to place B, you wouldn't get a Falcon. And if you were dead-set on getting a Falcon (on sentimental grounds), there'd be no way that you'd get the pov-pack model. |

Well they tried that for many years and not that long ago. As they sold stuff all, they didn't bother with it anymore and dont blame them for it. Wonder how many here bought a BA V8 XT when they were available?
I would love to see the 'XT' dropped from the bum for the FH and just have the FALCON. Why it needs to have a separate name is beyond me. Here is probably 1 of 10 built ...... nice car especially for the price! http://www.carsales.com.au/private/d.../?Cr=0&sdmvc=1

very nice car!! It would be interesting to see how many XT V8s where built to be honest. even thou there just a base model Falcon with a V8!! I think it would be an idea to drop the XT for the FH myself. I see more XR6s then XT's. |

That will be where the smart money is..........in 20 years time when every second man and his dog owns a Fpv GT a plain jane povo pack last of the V8 Falcons will at least have a crack at breaking even or god forbid getting your brass back! Cheers Mick |

They had a write up in unique cars recently about the BF XT V8, and if I remember correctly I think the numbers were 40 built for each BA XT and BF XT, will have another look.

That's just a I6 marked as a v8 like heaps of people (annoyingly) do. Has no v8 badge and has the 4 speed.
I'm tipping they'll drop the XT and G6 altogether for FH! Could be wrong though. Quote:

The thing that had my attention was the fact that it was just so unusual, I didn't even think they had a V8 in anything other than a Fairmont or XR for the B-Series!

But in reality they sold bugger all of them, and even mine was a old stock and a 'deal'. then I cheered it up with Fairlane grille light etc. because who wants to shell out all those $$$ for a povo pack.
