There’s a bloke out there who sells ute parts on Fleabay. “Tree works Craig”
Mine’s up and running again, didn’t need the disruption but thankfully minor in the scheme of it all. Tip is a hot dusty hell today at the green waste section. |

Mr 4 would relate to this bit of stupidity.
Management: “Install the machine there” (Job done and dusted.) Adjacent tenant (not the beneficiary of the install):”It’s too noisy.” Management (to us): “You need to move the machine. It’s not a compliant location.” Hmm… Now who was it, said the location was good? |

Was going to keep this off here but things have changed. Sunday arvo we had first rain for a long time, young girl from up the road lost it on our corner and smoked four cars in our drive, three are full cover insurance, my sons partner 3rd party only. She in totally at fault police in attendance, father shows up and says he accepts full liability and will sort everything, her car has warrant of fitness out by 7 months. Also doesn't want to involve his insurance with warrant being out. We have our cars assessed, the bill is substantial, he has had legal advice and said his daugther will declare bankrupt and we can jump for the 3rd party insured car, his words were you can't get blood out of a stone. Its funny i picked the grub for being a tight ar@ when the 08 Mustang he turned up in had new Nankangs on it..Best thing is he sent txt to sons partner saying "he" will pay for damage to her car so i'm hoping thats classed as binding contract in small clams court. Yeah geez i hate that...

You claim through your insurance company to get your cars repaired, they then recoup the money from him. Have been in a similar situation, with only one car, had to remind the insurance company that I am their customer and I pay them money to take care of everything. They did and the lady had to repay them through arrangement for years.

Seven months out on the WOF? She (driver at fault) might as well never bother.

It has been a long time since I have drove down the coast (been a passenger for a bit) and I wanted to give it a crack on the Clyde with my new tyres and brakes but no chance of that happening since it's ****ed with fire and been closed for while.
Kings Hwy looking like being closed for weeks more. Have to take quite a big detour down south and come back up through Bega which cuts out Bungendore and Braidwood on the way. Gonna be a tough time for the south coast business this season I reckon. I hate that. |

My old MS mouse was ancient, and the buttons tough as old boots.
I could rest my right finger on the right button but it wouldn't press unless I exerted some force. That mouse finally died. I now have a new fangled wireless mouse where the right button clicks if you sneeze on it... I'm now forever right pressing everything by accident. Driving me up the bloody wall... Yeah, yeah - first world problems I know.

I hate our local woolies that tries to force everyone to use those fekkin stupid self-serve things
they are ok, if a little annoying for a few items, but not when you have to try to somehow pile an entire trolley full of groceries onto the tiny pressure pad |

Government Websites WTF?
if you click the link titled "Online Payments", it takes you to a page that tells you that you can make online payments. Then you have to hunt for the hidden link, that will take you to a 2nd page page, which tells you how you can make online payments. And if you're really lucky that may contain a link to the actual payment page. Don't bother using the website search function, because instead of showing the pages as results, it will come up with hundreds of references in minutes and reports. |

Watching the south coast get absolutely smashed today. I hate that.
What I really hate even more is that the NSWRFS said **** would be ****ed today and to get out yesterday and it was actually way worse. The bad side of the 'she'll be right' culture we have in Australia. Many more people than necessary are stuck down there, clogging **** up. And you see the odd post here and there about 'how can I get down to the coast?'. FFS |

Yes agree bad for the NSW south coast.
3 days before the East Gippsland fires got really bad the authorities warned tourist to stay away and leave if already there, did any of these fools listen. Meanwhile locally, there are people wanting to camp in the ironbark forest here.

Fitting watch bands. Its extremely satisfying once you get the second pin in. But the prior effort, for me atleast, has some newly invented swear words, personal insults towards inatemate objects. So the reason i took the band off my good watch was to clean it. But to top off a job i absolutely hate, once i got it done the first time, i had to do it again. Yep, i put it on wrong way around. Didnt create any new swear words, just re used the ones i created in round 1. Normally i take before photos, not this time. I took on the, well my, mosted fiddly job with confidence. And got it right the second time.

The alarm of a nearby business loves to trigger randomly. I suspect it’s a badly positioned or misaligned sensor. It goes off with two strobes, a piezo siren and a regular old-school siren that runs for about three minutes each time. Enough to alert anyone not sedated.
So far tonight it’s triggered three times since eleven PM. Not happy Jan! |

CB, That was an early post.
The railway crossing behind the motel here sometimes gets itself stuck after a freight train passers with the gates going off randomly too. I have ARTC's number on speed dial now.

Its easier to keep a clean car clean then clean a dirty one. My car was a little bit dusty, not dirty, just dusty due to the crappy air so yesterday i gave it a quick in and out once over. The thing is only new and i waxed it the day after i got it etc, so it came up like new. Walked out of the house this morning. It had rained over night. Well, the water spots prove the car is well waxed. But it was destroyed by fire. All the dirt, dust and ash in the air left lovely orange dots all over what was a clean car. If it rains this arvo ill give it a wipe down, but its a let down because yesterday i spent 20 minutes doing a inside and out clean.
