can anyone give me some tips on how to get a good start off the line in drag racing. at the moment i have a ford ltd sleeper but whenever i try to accellerate fast i cant get traction in any gear and i loose against cars.

Ummm, tubs? Stickier tyres? What hp are you talking about? What are your terminal speeds? More info would be helpful...

That will help the weight transfer to the rear and load up the tyres. You also need slicks or at least Mickey Thompson ET/streets for some extra grip. Still sorting. Ran 10.11 with 1000ft back off on a 175 shot the other weekend. Rains everytime I want to go for a skid. Should be good for easy 9.80's with 175 shot then give it the 225 shot. Crystal balling for about 9.40's.
All steel, full interior, weighs 3550 pounds or just over 1.6 tonne |
