Default Who builds best torque converters for C4

hey yáll

I have a stroked Cleveland that was running 10's in a Mustang and I can only get low 12's in my xc sedan. I have a different transmission, I am running a Performance C4 but think my torque converter is wrong. Who in Australia is best at building perofrmance converters?
I live in NZ

Appreciate any help

Thanks

TCE makes a good NA converter.

we run Neal Chance as do alot of people we know. Frank Mamone http://racingconverters.com.au/ and Al's Race Glides http://www.alsraceglides.com.au/ are distributors here in Australia.

I had my converter done by Allfast and it was spot on. Simon is a great guy and he called Me!! and spent over an hour on the phone talking not only converters but many aspects of setting up my car.

A call to them too wouldnt hurt....

Ive had a dominator was a great converter. When I changed my combo enough to warant a converter change I went with Allfast. Purely for the several hundred dollar difference. More than happy with it. After sales service is awsome too.

Default Allfast

Allfast,
I ve now had 4 very good, as ordered converters built and sent to Country SA. Simon worked around the clock to have one ready before that weekends Drag racing.

Talk to Gonzo, (Simon) His dedication and passion is second to none!!

I had another builder from Adelaide have three shots at getting my Powerglide/Transbrake to stall at 5500rpm behind my 620hp Cleveland, first one 6800rpm stall, second 6500rpm stall, and the third one exploded and ended up in court.

Allfast, one shot and 5500rpm stall bullet proof , unquestionably the best .

I also run a 3500rpm Allfast converter in my BA GT-P. also happy with this one.

VERY reasonably priced, cheap.

I have tried all the so called top brands mentioned in this thread over the last 15 years and more than one from each manufacturer and NONE are as good as the TCE. it will be worth more than the extra $200 guarrenteed.. If you supply the most correct and honest specs of the motor and car you will get the best.. Its easy for someone who has gone to "such and such" and is very happy but ask the people who have posted here "who has tried them all"?
Cheers

we have run Dominator, TCE and Neal Chance. i can only vouch for those 3. most recently made a switch from TCE to Neal Chance went from 9.4 to 9.0, 147 to 151mph, picked up 35rwhp and 180ft-lbs of torque, 60ft dropped from 1.42 to 1.29 that was with a weld together. their lightweight bolt togethers are even better. 7000rpm stall and it drives on the street alot better than the others.

in the last year have seen alot of NA, Nitrous and turbo guys make a switch to a Chance and they are not looking back.
