Default Mk2 escort wheel help

Hey guys I am looking at putting 15 or 16 inch wheels on the esky but want to know what offset the wheel should be to clear with a 15x6.5 wheel found lots with +40 but is that to much?

Help please

I bought a set of 15x6 superlites from performance wheels australia, perhaps give them a call. They manufacture them so they should be able to help with the offset questions. Also, all the specs are on the website.

I just ordered a set of 15x7 P12 black Supalites from Performance wheels. Will have to wait 2 weeks or more. Gonna put 205x60 tires hopefully!
