Default New track near Melbourne?

I just read on another site that there has been development of a new track out near tooradin.

Not sure if its 1/8th or 1/4 mile racing though.

Does anyone here know anything about this?

It will be great if it happens. Both heathcote and calder are so far away from me.

it is going to be the tooradin airfield. the old runway.
initially it is to be 1/8 mile, will progress to 1/4 mile later on.
still in the planning stages, so no idea on time.

I hope it all goes ahead. I'd be at the trip more if it did. I prefer 1/4 mile though.

I head there is not enough room for a 1/4 mile.
Well if you want to stop before the Mangroves anyway....

It will be 1/8 mile....

: Where that is should far enough away to not annoy anyone. Hell they have planes taking off and landing and also a tractor pull show a stones throw away.

Yes the airstrip is further east just past the township isnt it, looks only a small airfield and westernport bay is right behind it

Wonder what the plans are for DRIVA in getting a Vic andra sanctioned track are, whether it's a new or existing track
