Hi All.
Heading to sydney this weekend. Can anyone tell me how long it takes to catch a train from penrith to sydney? Cbd? Cheers :-)

It took me a little over an hour to get from Penrith to the station near the domestic air terminal. But if you get an express it won't take as long.

Or maybe it was an hour and a half.
Anyway, you'll probably have to switch trains to get to Central Station.

You're screwed....
Buses replace trains between Penrith & Blacktown this weekend. Usually takes 50 minutes from Penrith to Central if you get an express (Blue mountains train) 75 minutes if its an all stations.

Damn and if it is buses between Penrith and Blactown .... that'll balloon your trip out to 2-3 hours.

surprised no one has said try the Cityrail/131500 trip planner...
IMO, last time was in Penrith, I managed to catch a bus direct from Penrith to Central in just under 55 mins...
