No - they did not deploy - all ok in the car - seems like it can be repaired but not 100% on that yet.

All i got was the call, Dad hit a tree can you pick us up, apparantly very lucky not to take out several cars, but by avoiding them and a stobey pole the tree had the last laugh.

I generally find that a circular saw works well on small trees.

Black (06/07) focus.
Left front damage - headlights, guard, bumper.
looks to be on the other side of the road.

(I sometimes can not see pics as well)

The tree probably stopped her from opening the house up hehind (in the pic) for a pre scheduled open inspection, as she was heading straight for the house, hit the tree and spun it perfectly up onto the footpath.

The drivers side rims and tyres are shagged as they hit the medium stip, blew the fron tyre right out and the rear has a huge bubble in the wall.

from the marks id say lucky it did not roll. still only a car and they can be fixed.

On another point raised earlier about air bags, there was a report recently in the Canberra Times where an air bag went off on a blokes ute. Apparently scared the beejesus out of him. Ford sent up a rep to inspect the vehicle but it is reported there was no body damage anywhere. Have not seen a thing about this since the original article.

Next time you see her, let her know it's probably a good idea to drive on the black stuff. Less trees.

No mate clipped the side of the roundabout, with a dodgey camber on the road, small gap ( raodway ), trying to miss cars it all went wrong from there, over in nano seconds.

Ahhhhhh, fair enough !. Had the same thing happen to me back on my P plates in my old XE years ago, except i'll admit i was being a hoon trying to pass through a round about at 100km (young and stupid I was), had 'billet' rims on the car, clipped the curb at 100km+, ripped pretty much the whole left suspension/steering rods/ etc etc clean from the car. The front left wheel and my car ended up on the nature strip. Suprisingly there wasn't a mark on the rim/it wasn't even buckled !, yet it ripped the whole front end out long with it, and tought me a serious lesson !.

I hope there isn't too much damage to fix on the car, gl with it all , cheers.
