Default Don't buy StreetMachine "Power Pack"

I walked into the newsagent this afternoon to see if the latest edition of streetmachine had arrived. I found a foil wrapped magazine labelled "streetmachine power pack". Nothing else on the cover and I couldn't see inside. So thinking it was some special offer I asked the newsagent if this was the latest edition of streetmachine.

He says yes yes, 10 dollar, 10 dollar. I get home and pull the foil wrapper off and find two editions of streetmachine commodores and a poster book. Not happy. So don't make the same mistake unless you want to see page after page of tacky commo utes...

OK, surely there is a Public Service Announcement regarding this going around! Seriously though, I never buy a wrapped magazine unless the newsagent bloke lets me open it and see whats in there

Hehe, I picked it up too but didn't buy it, thought to myself why did they put this wrapping on it,trying to hide something maybe? looks like I guessed right, for once.

FourBarrel do a good deed and rid yourself of the mags :

walk up to the first holden you see and just hand it to them, smile nicely and walk away quickly... it will freak them out a bit and you would have done something nice for the day ....

But yes, sealed mags are always a bit of a risk eh. I have about 6 or 7 surplus Street Fords/PFM/etc magazines due to this.

Homo? You seem to be the expert on this forum on what's gay or not. Most your posts seem to get around to calling something or someone "gay". Just stirring...

By the way wtf does emo mean?

lol sorry I find that a bit funny. :

Must suck for diehard Ford Fans. lol

Is it me or are the Newagents always flooded with Commodore mags? It seems that the majority or car mags contain Commodores these days.

Agreed, I just buy street machine through habit and boredom nowadays. I find many U.S. mags are a far better read...

So FourBarrel what did you do with them?

Sorry for laughing, it just seems funny.

I would imagine a diehard Holden fan, would react the same way, if the pack contained Street Fords or something.

Which is what I like to buy anyway, just to get away from looking at Supercharged LS1s all the time.

Yeah, I flicked through the pictures. I don't care too much about the make, I'm just being a bit of a clown. I even owned a very quick VP 355 at one stage. Also I secretly want a Monaro too...
