Interestingly host says a collaboration between Ford Ranger designers & Engineers and MS-RT which if correct implies Ford Australia engineers....
Wouldn't it be hugely ironic if a model that would probably be more suited to Australian buyers doesn't actually get offered here.... Last edited by Dr Smith; 16-02-2024 at 05:22 PM. |

Reckon that could maybe be a hint to the first facelift? Or elements of it (grille)?

I'm sure FofA will say there is no market here for this type of pickup ( its not a f**ken truck)
Pretty sure Walkinshaw could do something similar and probably more suited to Aussie taste, but then Ford wouldn't do it cause it just makes sense. Make it a limited edition yearly and charge top dollar, cause I'm quite sick of hearing those sloppyfart sounding 6 cyl petrol things. So we will be stuck with the same 'ol same 'ol that we've had before. My 2c Terry |

If it was a single cab with the Raptor engine, suspension and interior that would be a winner for anyone that misses their performance Falcon utes.

from the MS-RT web site, I can't really even see what the content is, apart from some seats, stickers, and a LOWERED??? suspension

If Ford is reading this, please put the Raptor engine in this and bring it down under.
There’s plenty of performance car enthusiasts who don’t have ambitions of racing Finke or jumping sand dunes. |

If they are too stupid to bring us the Maverick then surely they can bring us something like this.
In factory trim it would sit a tad higher but it is easy to see how they can get a lot more out of the Raptor Body Parts.
