The auto in the car has died and would like to have a go at replacing it myself with a change over (if i can get one ).Any tips would help thanks

general procedure to take out a FWD auto
get a good one from a wrecker undo outer cv nut - large socket and lever bar have someones foot on the brake pedal or in gear or park jack up car put on stands undo both front wheels drain auto oil /remove both drive shafts by undoing tie rods and front lower shock strut nuts undo battery and starter / gear cables /wiring to the box /undo drive plate nuts to torque converter might be a plate at the end of the sump to remove undo rest of gearbox nuts held to motor lower gearbox with a jack make sure the torque converter is in the box properly
