Just had a Chiptorque chip fitted by Road & Track S.A. to the XR6 VCT & just thought I'd post for the record. Looking at the graph, the power gain is quite linear across the power range, but like most S.A. forum users have said, R & T's dyno seems to read a little low. How does 86RWKW sound for a stock AU donk?
That is the average result with R & T. The car certainly feels more powerful especially in the low rev ranges so this is a great result for those looking at a chip option. No issues with the install, and no damaged bodywork ( re:-sourbastard ). In my opinion, money well spent! Last edited by duaned; 19-04-2005 at 09:47 PM. |

All I need now is a set of JMM Race headers, the 4480's may be up for grabs soon! Casper, did you get a closer look into the head design between the AU1's and AUII/III's?
