Looks like it's on this year. All tracks in Victoria though.
Anyone thinking of going?

Issue is unless the car is caged and ANDRA tech'd you will run 4 passes at 4 tracks then score a 20 @ 50mph on the return to Calder on day 5 (because you won't be allowed to run there again)
It's really setup for race cars with plates not true street... Unfortunately true street is unsafe without cages, I understand safety and the rules but the majority of street driven cars cannot or do not run cages Daniel |

What are the Andra regs. My reading is 11.0 for older cars and 10.0 for airbag cars?
This will be a show stopper for me. I'll dial in at 11 if I only need a tailshaft loop and if I can fit a harness without butchering the car I'll look at going. Anything more and I'm out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The 10.0 rule is not an ANDRA rule, it's track specific for non sanctioned events

Awesome good news for 10.0 cars, still no good for most tough streeters
Just looking at it, above 140mph it doesn't count anyway |

That's right, any 4200lb car running mid to low 9's will get toweled up by 3400lb cars running low 8's
Then there's Terry Sengs VC Daniel |

That VC is Tuff has the runs on the board. Pitty the XFT car has a cage and race seat it could be a Tuff streeter.

OK, so what does this mean for a slower older car.
Dial in at 11:00. Is it only SSL for the driver and a tailshaft loop, overflow bottle and 4 point harness?

No problemo, I think rule submission voting closes end of next month.
There's a couple of good ones like Jnr bike and funny cars, pro mod and pro tree for SC/O up too. Be good to see them get through too I think
