Just a small request from the AU fraternity (sp?)....
Anyone running Pacemaker headers (PH4480 or PH4499), can you please post pics? I got some opinions about my ute, and just wanna see what everyone elses looks like. Edit - Reason being is I wanna see the space the headers take up, and if I need to move my LPG converter to another spot...

Thanks for that jonbays, that's what I was looking for.
And yes, I will have to move the gas converter, looking at that. F*ck. Edit - jonbays, what's the length of the pipe I put a yellow line on? I *may* be able to get away with not moving it...

OK no. 4 pipe comes out from the exhaust cyl head face 22cm and actually goes up 2cm above the line of the exhaust bolt.
Its going to be a big problem I would think. |

Yea, that would smack right into the bottom/side of the Vialle convertor because those Vialle suckers are 3 inches wide

Is that what my converter is Racecraft?
Keep in mind it is aftermarket. Edit - Found a pic. Don't worry about the black circle. The converter is on the left under the coolant container. I will take a better picture tomorrow morning.

ahh you have an OMVL convertor, they are 1/2 the size of the factory vialle convertors..
Easy enough to move it though, get the headers fitted and then find a new home for the gas convertor

Sounds like a plan. But ideally I want to move the convertor first and then put the headers in, just in case I need extra length on some pipes, etc...

There's so much length in those pipes, would be a piece of **** to move it up and back behind the coolant reservoir. If you were super-keen, you could probably fab up a neat bracket and cover for it too.
Tibbo - are there any considerations when relocating a convertor? Do they need to sit level or be on a certain angle or orientation or anything? I know they need to be kept away from heat as much as possible...

I couldn't get the Pacies fitted cos the factory converter was in the way .... so I just have a cat back system on ... damn ... I'd love to get a set of Pacies though on the ute.
