Default WA Brake Reconditioner required for restoration

Does any one know of a brake shop in Perth of sufficient quality and knowhow to recondition the brake callipers, master cylinder, supply flexible brake lines OE slave cylinders, rear springs and adjuster bars to a OE quality for my restoration project for my 1970 Mustang? I need to maintain originality and to use OE PBR etc parts, and to understand the necessity to take care of MY brake parts.

Any suggestions, personal experiences gratefully received. Many thanks.

You could try Wilkinson Suspension in Bayswater. I ahve always found them to do a good job. I am not sure if they would do what you want, but there is no harm in giving them a call. And if you use the phone at work, it wont even cost you anything to find out :-)

Thanks RSgerry

Am going to give Perth Brakes Parts a go. Bits now in the boot of the XR8 for delivery tomorrow morning.

Thanks again for your input.

Be wary of PBP as I had them recon my front calipers and......

After slowly bedding the new pads in I took it to 100kph and did a hard stop etc and immediately it swerved hard right and I just mangaged to bring it under control and not head bush as I was on Toodyay Road.

Upon inspecting the front I noticed brake fluid all over the left caliper and pads. Took it back and explained how I could have killed myself or had a head on etc.

10 minutes later a tech guy brought the caliper out and was laughing. He then tells me they hadn't put orings between the two halves.

Needless to say I was FAR from impressed.

try www.superoo.com.au they do falcon parts but i think some parts are the same, or a guy in applecross Vince Shevrington, he specialises in mustang parts a bit pricey but he'll probably have what you need, or know where to send it.
