There are massive noise restrictions at Sandown already and I cant see it happening. Also I find it interstesting that CAMS would want anything to do with drag racing.

Why would they have a meeting about Sandown in the Berwick pub when they have their own meeting rooms??

It all seems a littl odd to me...

most drag racers would vomit blood if they ran meets there.

you must surely be talking about some street meets only?

I read the title of the thread and laughed and now that i have thought about it more i just fell off my chair laughing, with all due respect the facility "might" be OK for street cars and smallish ANDRA meets but full blown Top Fuel in the suburbs.....not a chance in hell.

And that's the real issue here in the suburbs absolutely no way. As much as i want Drag Racing back and running in this state this is not an option.

Just my 2 cents worth.

Cheers Craig

......I just want to know whats going on! Wether it happens or not, and as far as Sandown goes it will never happen, but I will support any inkling of a suggestion for off street drags to be in the east and do anything I can!

Thumbs down

This will never happen - there isn't enough safe run off for a 10 second car.

Might as well let it go fellas.
