Default club rego

How do i go about putting conditional rego on my 1992 ford fairlane v8 when i hardly drive it only because putti g a full 12 months on it seems a waste my plan was only to take it to afd show and fords in the park and sometimes cruise every now and again only because the last time i drove this car was last year apart from the other day was giving it a good run to the servo and back to take some pic and having 6 months or 12months is pointless to me
