Default Holden Crewman DIVY-VAN!

first up: NO PICS...might take the camera for a drive later though.
anyway i just spotted a Holden Crewman Divisional Van.
anyone else seen one getting around before?
are these going to be a replacement for the Ford Divisional Van does anyone know or are the Police going to have both?
anyone got any info about them, like the main purpose of a 4 door divvy van?
anyway thought it might be of interest to someone.

Yep .. saw one on Saturday going south on the Woodend bypass on the Calder Hwy. I'd think it would be a bit squeezy both in the back seats and in the "wagon" bit?

the 4 door divy van might also be AWD/4WD as well, could come in quiet handy, let alone the extra seating.

yeah, i remember they showed it on today tonight last year. Wouldnt have thought the 6cyl versions would be quick enough for police duties. Then again its taxes at work, so they are prob v8.

Ha Ha Ha you beat me too it and i got a pic as well yep davway we where 1 of the " lucky towns " that got ours last thursday
all the old ford divy vans are going by the end of the year (tenderd out) and in with the new crewman they are more for the handleing then anything else as we know the old vans can roll over easer then the crewman .
and the crewman started out in the grey colour for there testing it went to 18 diffrent shops so that they could get feed back and most of them that drove it said yes the crewman was far better then the old vans

Who wants to buy a old police divy van ? they might go cheap.
