Aluminium flywheel + HD clutch

So ive ordered a HD Exedy clutch for my XR8 and thought id go a light weight flywheel while im at it.
How will an aluminium flywheel hold up with a heavy duty clutch?
A lightened steel would do better but this is just a bit cheaper for me, not that i cant afford the steel one.

Its for an EF XR8 and its my daily, so are there any major cons to look at?

It should have steel friction surface on flywheel..
Tmk they are friction welding to each other..

a mate machined up an aluminum flywheel for a built supra motor, his held up alright pushing well into the 400 rwk zone, and responsiveness difference it made to his engine was pretty good, his had the metal insert in the clutch plate area.

Major con for a heavy duty clutch is the pos pedal box will fail after a while.

Ah ok, i thought it was fully aluminium

Also pedal box has welds on it already from what i can see and firewall has already split and has a temp fix untill this all gets done in 3 weeks and the firewall will be re-inforced
