Default Swamped ranger

Got a little water in px3 on weekend on pass side , electronics started playing up after that steering , hill assist , cruise control , ESC , pulled seat our and found a modual on floor , xmckeaned and dried it , my question can this be the cause and what it called if I need to source another

Water ingress can fry electronics today and in the future . The future problems can be caused by moisture or developed corrosion over time . If your unlucky modules that are wired to the wet unit may fail in the future also .
The wiring because companies use the smallest possible size can fail as moisture wicks itself up the cable from connector and corrodes wires internally . The signal or power flowing thru can be intermittent .
Obviously the above issues can be difficult to diagnose .
In a simpler car all the dash and engine loom is removed dried and lubed . All ECU are removed and dried . About 7 --10 days work . No guarantee .

If it was under the passenger seat, then most likely tow module.
As for your problems, maybe so or maybe not.

how and where? Ranger is rated to 800mm deep wading so all the critical electrical joints should be above that.
